Hi… I’m a 3- year-old hound mix with big, sad, soulful eyes that tell a story I’m still learning how to let go of. 💛I am a mom to ten puppies, and I take that job very seriously. I love them, protect them, and give them everything I have, like any good mother would. Now that they’re growing up, it’s my turn to find a family to care for me. I’ve learned to be careful with my heart. But once I know you’re my person, I love deeply and completely. I’ll stay close, watch you with my eyes, and soak up every bit of attention you give me.I should probably warn you—I’m a typical hound, which means I can be a little stubborn. If my nose catches an interesting scent, my ears might suddenly stop working 😉. I like doing things my way sometimes, but it’s all part of my charm, and I respond best to patience, consistency, and gentle guidance.I’m ready to trade in my mama duties for cozy naps, slow walks, and a family who sees me for the sweet, loyal girl I am.If you’re looking for a gentle heart to love and be loved by, I’m right here… waiting for my forever. 🐾❤️***FOSTER TO ADOPT***Mrs. Beasley is heartworm positive and not yet spayed. She is currently going through heartworm treatment. Once her treatment is complete, it is the responsibility of the adoptive family to get a microfilaria test 30 days after treatment for a preliminary result. Then, a heartworm test 9 months after treatment for final results. It is recommended that she continues getting tested for heartworm annually. During these months, you will need to make sure her heart rate is not elevated due to high energy play or exercise until she receives a negative microfilaria test. Mrs. Beasley will also need continued use of monthly heartworm preventives going forward. This will all be covered by Warrior Dog until her last injection. Any other medical needs will be the responsibility of the adopter. Once she receives a negative result on her heartworm test she will need to be spayed. The adoption can be finalized once treatment in complete and she is spayed.If you are interested in adopting Mrs. Beasely, please fill out an adoption application.--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. He’s energetic and playful, especially in the yard, where he loves running around with his foster brother and sister. Despite all his energy, he’s also incredibly cuddly and loves to curl up once he’s gotten his zoomies out. He absolutely loves his Kongs and will happily keep himself entertained with them. He has been great with everyone in the house. He does well with kids and the couple of cats he has met. He eats very well and is extremely treat-motivated, which has made training easier. He’s already picking up basic manners and loves learning new things. He sleeps through the night without issues and has been doing really well in his crate; he settles down quickly. Overall, he has adapted beautifully and is showing all the signs of being a wonderful companion. He’s affectionate, smart, social, and ready to thrive in a loving forever home.
