Contact the foster at, JCRUBINSKI@GMAIL.COMMeet Lucy, the regal and elegant hound mix! This sweet and calm lady is ready for her forever home with her favorite person!Things we know so far about Lucy:- has long legs that she trots nicely on- extremely calm, has go with the flow vibes- very easy on leash- loves to go for walks and sniff around, but she doesn`t require a lot of exercise- she`s also happy to lounge around the house- will go in crate, but doesn`t enjoy it for long periods of time. She is non-destructive when left alone outside a crate - potty trained, no accidents in the house and hold it all night/work day- loves treats and takes them very gently- very smart, knows sit, shake, down, and stay. She will wait in place for a long time and only releases once called.- did great walking around Southend and going to breweries- does fine in the car, sits down and looks out the window- can be picky with her dog friends and needs time to get used to them before they are in her space. She gently, but firmly corrects dogs when they are too much for her.- with slow intros she would be fine with another dog in the house, but I think she would prefer to be the only pet in the home. She hasn`t been aggressive with her foster brothers, but I think she would be happier without them around :)- not sure about resource guarding with other dogs, we haven`t introduced toys to the pack. Previous notes indicated that she doesn`t like to share- she is playful 1 on 1 with people. She hasn`t initiated play with her foster dog brothers- has shown interest in squirrels while on walks and seems to have a prey drive. I would say no cats although she has not been cat tested-Needs a home with children over the age of 12, she doesn`t like loud noises or lots of chaos

Story
I’m Bibby, a dashing Treeing Walker Coonhound/terrier mix with a big personality that will keep you always entertained.I came to the Humane Society of York County from York County Animal Services, where I had been surrendered by my owners. My estimated birth date is June 2020.Sadly, I haven’t experienced stability in my life, which can make me wary when I meet new people. I just need a little extra time to get to know you, and then you’ll find out I’m a serious love bug, very sweet and affectionate.I’m the sporty type – I love being out in nature and I love water. There’s nothing like a good hike with my people. I’m a true companion dog! (But don’t get me wrong, lounging on the couch sounds wonderful, too.)I’m a big, high-energy boy (about 65 to 70 pounds), so I would do best in a home with no small children and no other pets. I would love to have an active family that would help me manage my energy. I love to be on the go exploring, and a fenced yard would be a big plus.If you’re looking for an affectionate hunk who will always be ready for adventure with you, we need to meet!If you wish to meet me, please call the Humane Society of York County at (803)-802-0902 to schedule an appointment. Please refer to our website for adoption requirements: https://humanesocietyofyorkcounty.org/adopt/adoption-process.htmlThank you for your support.

Story
This beautiful boy is Freddy! Freddy is a 2 year old treeing walker coonhound expected to weigh about 60 pounds. Freddy enjoys walks, playing with his foster friends, and cuddling with his humans. His zest for life makes him the perfect companion for a family outing to breweries, parks, and hiking adventures! Once he’s been tired out from exploring and playing, he will gladly melt into the couch with his people. Freddy gets along great with other dogs. He is neutered and up to date on vaccinations. Please contact adopt@carolinapaws.com to learn more about how to make Freddy a part of your family!
