So my foster mom named me Jager (after one of her favorite drinks... JagerMEISTER....) I am not sure why I remind her of drinking... but I definitely prefer a name and a foster home with food EVERY DAY and LOVE with ALL KINDS OF STUFFED TOYS to starving on the streets....so call me whatever you want foster lady, I am OK with it!! I am a busy boy, with the most SWEET nature. I LOVE toys and other dogs and would really be best in a home with a playful friend and kids too? I even like kitties!!! I will promise to be a good boy and love you as much as you will love me :) I am a Weimer/hound mix we think!!! Hard to tell my breed mix, I have the most GORGEOUS SILVER fur but it is very hard to identify what my mom was and what my dad was.... we generally call it San Antonio Street Special- and I am SPECIAL! ADOPT ME, I AM WAITING FOR YOU, I can even bring my OWN TOYS TOO :) Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Hi! My name is Tucker and I am from Minnesota. From the foster: This is Tucker and he is a gentle giant. Not only is he a distinguished gentlemen with devilishly good looks but he has deep golden eyes that will stare into your soul and convince you to continue to give endless amount of pets and belly rubs, which he never gets tired of. Tucker is the perfect age. He still has the fun puppy energy to play fetch and jog around the yard but knows when it is time to take a nice long nap. He loves playing with his friend the yellow lab and will even adjust his play style to accommodate the size of his dog companion. Tucker sleeps quietly in his kennel at night and has not had any potty accidents. He truly is the perfect best friend. Please note that Tucker is scared of fast moving toddlers so kids should be 8+ for this big guy! A house with young children would be too overwhelming for Tucker. Tucker startles pretty easily and does have a criteria of 8 years old and older.

Meet Rosie! Rosie's had a tough journey, spending most of her life in a small kennel. Since coming to our rescue, we've been helping her socialize and establish a routine, and the progress is heartwarming. She's great with easygoing medium to large dogs and is curious about cats, but respectful. When it comes to kids, Rosie does great with slightly older ones. To make her feel at home, Rosie will need a fenced-in yard where she can run and play. Given her past mistreatment, a structured routine and schedule will work wonders for her happiness and well-being. Rosie has been spayed, microchipped, and is up to date on all preventative care and vaccines. Rosie is a smart and loving pup, seeking reassurance and cuddles. This is Cooper. He and his sweet Sister, Katie have been tossed around from rescue to rescue and living in kennels for over a year! First springer rescue got them and left them in a kennel for months before deciding they weren't springers and then someone else stepped up but they stayed in a kennel again. We have had them now and are working with them. They are so sweet and happy! Cooper walks well on a leash and is pretty close to house trained. He is neutered, UTD on all vaccines and is HW neg. We are so desperate to find these babies a loving home to live out their lives in that we are cutting the adoption fee in half but they must stay together. Please consider them! This is Katie. She and her brother, Cooper have been tossed around from rescue to rescue and living in kennels for over a year! Story
Star was rescued in Louisiana. A lady that found her called me and said that she could not find a rescue group in Louisiana to take her. She had a gunshot wound through her jaw and ear. She was in pain. She brought her to me in Mississippi, and I got her the medical treatment that she needed. She had jaw surgery, and now her tongue permanently hangs out. We think this makes her uniquely special!! I know that her tongue hanging out may be a deterrent for a permanent home, but Star is such a sweet baby. She cannot help it that somebody shot her. She is a Catahoula hound, and her tail is docked. Star is a very sweet and loves to ride in the car. She loves dogs, and she loves children. She loves to roll over for a belly rub, and she knows the sit command. She is extremely smart. She loves to load up and ride in the car, and I believe that she was somebody’s baby at one time! Also, if you live out of state we use the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Rescue Riders Pet Transport. We alternate between the Northeast and the Midwest every other weekend.
