She's always up for a game of chase. Lana gets along with most dogs and is specially loving with puppies under a year old. She can get triggered by certain dogs, so a patient and experienced owner is a must. She's not super familiar with kiddos, but has been okay with respectful children - lots of adult supervision recommended. The ideal home for Lana is one with space to run, play, and explore! While she can come across as unsure, those who take the time to get to know her quickly discover the sweet, affectionate dog she truly is.Our staff and volunteers have told us that treats are the name of Ellie's game! She may start out a bit cautiously, but her body soon softens as she takes in the sights and smells. She's learning to sit politely and loves to roll in the grass. We anticipate Ellie may take a bit of time to adjust to a new routine, and her ideal family will be patient, supportive, and gentle in how they approach this new friendship to allow Elie some time to warm up to new people. Ellie may enjoy the company of a polite dog or even a cat. Ellie will only be placed in a home without children or with kids at least 10 years of age. This is Chance. He’d had a bit of a rough time before we took him into the rescue, but he’s overcome everything it had thrown at him. Very scared at first, Chance is sadly still a little wary of people He’s very sweet, patient and loving. He’s happy to just have a spot in a comfy home, doesn’t bark or fuss Chance loves to play and be around other dogs. A home with other dogs is a must. He’s very submissive, shares his toys and will turn away from overbearing dogs. He is a little guarded over food and needs to be fed separately He needs a home with patient humans and a doggie or 3 Chance is potty and crate trained will go happily into his crate when asked. He doesn’t do well on a leash, he will chew them and is not happy going on walks. A home with a safe fenced yard is required.
