Charming Chelsea will delight you! She is an almost 1 year old, 11 pound, black & gold, Yorkie/Schnauzer. She was brought to AFC as a stray. She was skin and bones and her face was so matted that we could not see her eyes! She has been groomed and is blossoming before our eyes. She is loving and sweet. She will require regular professional grooming. She will require potty training. She is getting into the routine of going out the doggie door and going outside on command. She may need some leash training. Chelsea is scheduled to be spayed but we are looking for her home now. This little beauty is the whole package! Due to her smaller size kids 10 or older please.      Meet Sasquatch Cryptid If you’ve ever wished for a tiny, lovable shadow who believes personal space is a team sport—Sasquatch Cryptid might just be your guy. Sasquatch is a 10-year-old, 7-lb Maltese/Yorkie mix with a charming brown-and-grey coat and a BIG love for life. He adores other dogs and people, and his happiest place is on a cozy dog bed, preferably surrounded by canine friends. The more, the merrier! Despite having cataracts, Sasquatch gets around like a pro. He’s figured out the doggie door, uses a stool to climb onto the couch, and enjoys wandering the backyard to sniff out all the good smells. He’s learning to walk on a leash, is making progress with housetraining, and doesn’t mind car rides—bonus points if the adventure ends with snacks or cuddles. This little guy is also a world-class snuggler. Sasquatch loves being carried around like a baby, whether that’s in your arms or tucked into a sling, and he’s perfectly content tagging along wherever you go. Sasquatch does not like being alone and will happily follow you from room to room, barking if he gets left behind. Because of his impaired vision and his desire to always be right by your side, he would do best in a home without mobility challenges, as he can accidentally walk right into your feet while you’re moving. Overall, Sasquatch is an active, affectionate, and resilient little dog who wants to be part of everything you do—on the couch, in the car, or carried close to your heart. This is the neatest little guy. His foster family is enjoying him decompressing with several other little pups. He is a sweet old man. hoping he finds a wonderful warm lap for him in the future.

10 year old, needs a new home. Preferably an experienced pet owner. Has always had anxiety & been skidish. Will require someone with patience that can show him a lot of love and attention. Loves to spend time outside. Has had surgery for stones and requires special urinary tract food that requires a prescription. He’s around other small dogs often but prefers his own space so he doesn’t play too much with them. If they invade his personal space he may nip at them but overall not aggressive.
