Puppy is a senior Yorkie who belonged to our late mom. He has been very loved and cared for, but unfortunately no one in our family is able to keep him long-term. He is used to having access to a yard rather than going on regular walks, so he may need time to adjust to leash walking and a new routine. He is not house-trained. He also has some ongoing medical needs, including chronic dry eye, dental disease, and a partial cruciate ligament tear, so he will need continued veterinary care. We’re hoping to find him a calm, loving home where he can be comfortable and well cared for.

At just 6 pounds, Kaya is a tiny little package with a whole lot of personality! This sweet 4-year-old Yorkie mix is a quiet, easygoing girl who would love nothing more than to be someone’s cherished companion. Kaya is definitely a lapdog at heart. Pick her up, settle her on your lap, and she is perfectly content to snuggle in and relax. She doesn't need a busy household or lots of activity to be happy. In fact, she would probably be happiest with a senior, retiree, or anyone looking for a calm little companion to share their days with. She is a very quiet girl and rarely barks. Kaya is also crate trained and sleeps peacefully through the night. She is doing very well with her house training and is approximately 90% housebroken. Kaya enjoys her daily walks, but she prefers peaceful surroundings. Busy streets, passing cars, and loud noises can make her nervous, so a quieter neighborhood would be ideal for her. When meeting new people, Kaya can be a little cautious. She does best when people let her approach at her own pace rather than reaching for her quickly. If she feels startled or overwhelmed, she may give a quick little warning nip. Once she is comfortable, she is a sweet little companion who enjoys being near her person. Kaya has done well with dogs of all sizes, although she isn't particularly interested in playing with them. She is perfectly happy doing her own thing and spending time with her human. Kaya may be tiny, but she has plenty of love to give. She is looking for a quiet home, a patient person, and a warm lap where she can spend her days.
