Story
Gregory is a young, 20-lb Yorkshire Terrier mix with the biggest heart and the easiest soul. He was rescued from a hoarding situation in California’s Central Valley, and despite everything he’s been through, Gregory has come out the other side remarkably well-adjusted, gentle, and sweet. True to his Yorkie mix roots, Gregory is an easygoing little guy who enjoys being near his people without needing to be the center of attention. He’s what we like to call a good dude—calm, affectionate, and happy to go with the flow. He can be a tiny bit wary when meeting new people, but it doesn’t last long at all; once he realizes you’re a friend, he warms up quickly and is all soft eyes and quiet companionship. Gregory would thrive in a home looking for a low-key, loving pup with a resilient spirit and a whole lot of heart. He’s ready to leave his past behind and start the next chapter of his life with a family who will love him the way he deserves. 💛

Story
Wesley is a 3-year-old, 13 lbs Yorkie mix and adorable bundle of scruff - available for adoption now @gratefuldogsrescue25   Fostered in the Bay Area   Apply to adopt at https://www.gratefuldogsrescue.org/   Wesley is crate trained, potty trained, and a total gentleman in the house. He’s incredibly affectionate and lives for snuggles — whether it’s curling up next to his foster parents or cuddling with his doggy foster sister. One of his cutest habits? He loves to sleep on his back, belly up, totally content and trusting   Wesley absolutely shines at home, safe with his loved ones. But the outside world can be a little scary for him. On leash, unfamiliar people and dogs can be overwhelming. Wesley can bark and get reactive so a strong hold on the leash and redirecting in the key. Even still, he is always first out the door for walks, bravely facing the unknown with hope and enthusiasm.    And he is already making such amazing progress in the great outdoors! He will need a loving, patient forever person to help him continue to build confidence at his own pace.   Wesley will do best in a calm home, ideally with another dog who is down for cuddles, lazy hangs, and friendly play. We will have to pass on cat sibs, however, as our boy Wes is a little too curious about squirrels    Wesley has some separation anxiety that does mean a some howling and whining. This could be problematic for those in apartments.    If you’re looking for a gentle, loyal little companion to love and grow with, Wesley might just be your future cuddle buddy. Grateful Dogs Rescue incurs substantial veterinary and other expenses in rescuing our dogs. In order to recoup some of these costs, we request a tax-deductible donation for each adoption. The suggested donation for NAME is $300. If you are interested in adopting NAME, please complete our online adoption application at https://www.gratefuldogsrescue.org/adoption-process/ . One of our volunteers will get back to you. Adoptions are local, confined to the SF Bay Area. When were you first overwhelmed by the desire to add a toothless Yorkie to your life? The moment you laid eyes on Luke, a gentlemanly black and tan senior of unbearable cuteness currently breaking hearts at Muttville. Is it the puppy face, the button nose or the clamshell ears with fringe on top? All of the above, no doubt, plus portability, gentility and a very affectionate nature. And the little dude can climb stairs! Too good to be true? Nope. He’s over here interviewing for a forever family. Meet him today.

Who doesn’t love a little open-source operating system? Especially when it’s a dark-eyed handsome terrier looking to share his glitch-free sweetness with anyone offering TLC in return. He’s a spry guy who can do stairs and enjoys a stroll. Looking for a lap-seeking scruff nugget with love on his mind? We’ve got him!
