Hi! Kona is 9 years old, but still acts and moves like she’s 3-4. She has lots of energy, loves going for walks and is always up for an adventure. She has been treated as part of the family and goes on family trips like Reno, Tahoe and all over the Bay Area. She enjoys belly rubs and doggy massages every night before bed. She lives for treats and a good meal. She’s been having some allergies lately and we’ve been trying to cut chicken out of her diet as her vet recommended. She’s an excellent guard dog who doesn’t miss a beat. She will let you know when someone is on your porch or in your yard. She will need an experienced dog/Yorkie owner. She lives with a cat who we’ve had since he was 8 weeks old, but she doesn’t like strange/stray cats in “her” yard. Her best home would be with an active retiree or someone who can spend a good amount of time with her. She’s great alone in the home all day if need be. Will only pee/poo out doors. Has never needed to be crated.

A perfect housemate Wesley is crate trained, potty trained, and a total gentleman around the house. He’s incredibly affectionate and lives for snuggles — whether he’s curled up beside his foster parents or cozied up with his doggy foster sister. One of his most endearing quirks? He loves to sleep flat on his back, belly up, completely relaxed and trusting. A sensitive soul outdoors Wesley shines in the comfort of home, but the outside world can feel a bit overwhelming. On leash, unfamiliar people and dogs can make him a tiny bit nervous, and he may bark. With gentle redirection, he’s learning to navigate those moments — and he’s already making wonderful progress. Despite his worries, he’s always the first one out the door, tail wagging with enthusiasm. JULY 2025: Luke is a sweet quiet boy who will join in if other pack members start being vocal! He is friendly, but responds fearfully if fast hands grab at him—so we are recommending a household with NO SMALL CHILDREN or anyone who has an aggressive controlling attitude. Luke likes to hang out outside in nice weather or when other pack members are playing with toys (he will join in!). Inside he likes to hang out in his bed under a bookcase or below the raised footrest of a recliner. At night Luke likes to climb doggie steps up to his human’s mattress and sleeps quietly through the night. LUKE is trained to use wee pads to do his business or a dog door to access an enclosed patio or safely fenced yard. He is not a digger so won’t destroy flower beds. He WILL dart out an open door or gate to take himself for a walk, so again, recommending a childless, totally dog-aware household. NOV 2025: Sweet boy’s family was unable to include him in their move so he’s availlable to interview new prospective homes; Buster would prefer a quiet environment with a safely fenced front yard porch or patio for enjoying mild sunshine and fresh air when he isn’t napping in his snuggle bed; I’m like a lot of your keys. Buster is content too sleep in the front room or large crate rather than joining his people on their bed at night however, if he were the only hound in the house that might change. Buster’s crate door is always open so he can use the nearby wee pad or dog door to access the yard spaces; At present he prefers his meals to be delivered to his crate rather than eating with the Rescue Pack in the kitchen, but he will venture out for a tasty treat when something is being distributed. BUSTER has a beautiful straight spine, but X-rays have revealed 4 vertebrae in the center with very thin padding between them which causes occasional back pain, currently controlled with inexpensive anti-inflammatory meds included with his meals. He is bigger than his sibs, and is always in front of them in case they need protecting. He is super playful and food motivated. Once he trusts you he loves to roll over for some belly rubs.
