Meet Pablo Picasso!
Breed: Chihuahua x Terrier MixGender: MaleAge: AdultSize: Small ([WEIGHT])Good with: Other dogs, patient people who understand his preferences
Pablo Picasso is a sweet boy, but like any true artist, he can be a little choosy about his people! This charming Chihuahua x Terrier mix has standards and preferences, and he's not afraid to be selective about who gets into his inner circle. But once you're in? You're IN.
Pablo has been in a home and came to us via no fault of his own. He does have kennel issues—the crate isn't his favorite place in the world, and he'll let you know it. But here's the important part: out of the crate, he is a LOVE. The kennel anxiety doesn't define him; it's just one quirk in an otherwise wonderful personality. In a home environment where he doesn't have to be crated, Pablo is sweet, affectionate, and genuinely delightful.
He can be playful and is VERY food motivated—which makes training a breeze! Got treats? You've got Pablo's full attention. He's a big-time cuddler and has a joyous personality that lights up every room he's in. He likes to be held and gets along well with other dogs, making him a great fit for someone who wants a lap-sized companion and potentially has other pets at home.
Pablo is proof that sometimes dogs just need the right environment to show their best selves—and for him, that means a home where he can feel secure and loved without the stress of kennel confinement. If you're ready for a sweet, artistic soul who will choose you carefully but love you deeply, cuddle relentlessly, and do just about anything for a treat, Pablo Picasso is ready to create a masterpiece of a life with you!

Disclaimer: The information in this profile reflects observations made while this dog has been in our shelter environment. We strive to describe each dog as accurately as possible; however, behavior and needs may change once the dog is in a new home, routine, or environment. Our dogs are not freeroaming in homes. When we note that a dog is "potty trained," this refers to reliable crate training, not confirmed freeroam house training. Accidents may occur during the transition to a new home, and additional training should be expected. All dogs are examined by our veterinarian, are spayed or neutered if old enough, and are up to date on ageappropriate vaccinations at the time of adoption. We share all known medical information, but we cannot guarantee future health or rule out underlying conditions.
ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.happyfacespetranch.org
Once your application has been approved, a representative will be in touch to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog based on the dog's individual needs.
