Story
Est DOB  5/01/23 Current weight ~ 12 lbs Meet Ludlow, a 12lb energetic Yorkie mix love bug. He is a rizz dripped pocket rocket. Ludlow's go-to activities include: saying hello to every single person he meets, playing tug-of-war with his person, checking his pee-mail three times a day, taking power naps in between his busy social activities and generally being the goofiest, cutest mog imaginable. He makes a great family dog or will act as wing-dog for the single person looking to make friends. His personality is loving yet independent. He adores head scritches and belly rubs but doesn't have to be in your lap all the time. He does well in the company of dogs and greets every human he meets. Would not recommend leaving him unsupervised with young children as he likes to nip human hands when expressing his joy & excitement. Ludlow is a curious and playful dog who enjoys exercising his brain so puzzle toys and/or training sessions go a long way to positively direct his energy. If you think you have the perfect home for Ludlow, we’d love to hear from you. Please e-mail MuttsAndMeows@Mail.com or use the link below to fill out our adoption applicationhttps://form.jotform.com/Muttsandmeows/pet-rescue-application-form $350 adoption fee includes spay/neuter surgery, rabies and other vaccinations, heartworm test, deworming, and heartworm and flea preventatives while the dog is in our care. Story
Tulip is just the sweetest little pup! She's a super easy dog - up for anything, always! She loves her walks, car rides, and visiting dog-friendly places. She is working on potty and crate training. She can be very playful at times - with her humans and her foster sisters. She is cuddly, but not too clingy! She happily self settles - again, a super good and easy dog, incredible for still being a puppy! She loves to find a soft spot to curl up wherever her human is. We DNA tested her, and she is a shih tzu & yorkie mix, (that's where her cute little yoda ears come from!) with a little bit of dachshund thrown in! We're looking for a home for Tulip where there is another small dog for her to play with and where someone is home most of the day. Please consider adopting this sweet girl, she truly will make your life brighter. Tulip is a Yorkie/Shih Tzu/Dachshund mix with an estimated date of birth of 12/16/2023. She weighs 5.4lbs.

Story
🐶 Say hello to Peanut, our adorable and active 6-month-old puppy who's ready to bring endless joy and energy into your home! Peanut is an active puppy who loves to play and is always on the lookout for his next adventure. Peanut came to us with some skin issues caused by fleas and he is being treated for them . He was shaved down when he arrived, so we're not quite sure what his hair length will be once it grows back. This little guy should remain small when fully grown, making him the perfect companion for any living situation. If you're looking for a fun-loving, playful pup to brighten your days, Peanut is your boy! If you would like to meet Peanut, please fill out our no-obligation adoption form at bit.ly/starlightadopt, then an adoption counselor will contact you with next steps. Adoption fee is $300 and includes an exam, fecal, deworming, flea prevention, heartworm prevention, microchipping, puppy vaccines, rabies vaccine, spay/neuter surgery. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. All dogs listed here are available for adoption from Yorkie Rescue Houston.  Our goal is to ensure our rescued pets go to their forever home and never end up back in the system.  To that end, an application is required on all potential adopters.   Our adoption fee varies by dog.  We accept electronic funds via VENMO or Paypal, or cash only. Puppies too young to be spayed/neutered are available for Foster-to-Adopt only.  A FTA contract is required.   Heidie was picked up as a stray by the Montgomery County Animal Shelter.  She was filthy, sick, flea infested, matted and had rotting teeth  in her mouth with infection.  She had a severe cough and was ready to die.  The shelter rescue coordinator reached out to us and we said yes!  She completed her 3 day stray hold, cos, 'the law, ya know'  and went to our vet immediately.  She was on 2 different antibiotics, cough tabs, and sent home with multiple ear medications due to both ears full of gunk.(infection) She had shut down.  Lethargy and malaise were all we got our of her.  She cried when we medicated her.  Pain management was introduced. Then, one day, she let us medicate her without too much struggle, then the next day, it was less a struggle.  She came to us for loves and pets.  She started seeking affection.  She soon began to play.  She can hear!! She's a delightful, sweet girl who will do well with in a home where she can be your couch and bed buddy.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 5, 2024, 8:51 pm

She will make a great best friend! She’s doing well with her potty training outside and also uses pad inside. She loves toys and chasing balls. That’s her love. Super affectionate. Loves cuddles and petting. I have not seen the hearing impairment or it may be mild. She responds to me when I call her. Definitely family friendly. She doesn’t mind my car but definitely a little too curious about the litter box. She’s a sweetheart!   Surrendered by her mom when the family had a medical emergency. Not much is known about Molly.  Our vet staff said she was a friendly happy little girl Molly suffers from severe and chronic skin and ear infections.  Likely due to poor quality food and fleas.  She is 'the dominant one'    Prev. owner states: not cat friendly loves car rides        Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 5, 2024, 8:51 pm
