Quasar is a gentle 4‑year‑old little guy weighing just 8 pounds, and he’s still looking for a family to call his own. His adoption fee is $400. He came to us as a stray—thin, completely matted, and clearly in need of care. Now that he’s been cleaned up, fed, and shown some love, his sweet personality shines through.He gets along wonderfully with the other dogs here and truly enjoys his time outside. Even after a rough start, he remains a kind, affectionate boy who just wants to feel safe and loved. With a bit more weight on him and a family to cherish him, he’s going to blossom even more.Because we don’t observe our animals in home settings, we aren’t able to guarantee whether they are housebroken.Upon intake, every animal receives:Spay/neuter surgeryMicrochipAll age-appropriate vaccinationsBlood and fecal testing (with treatment if needed)Flea, tick, and heartworm preventionA complimentary wellness exam 7–10 days after adoptionPlease note that adopters must be at least 21 years old and live within an hour of our facility.If you’d like to meet Quasar or have any questions, I’d be happy to help. Meet Gwyneth!Gwyneth is a 7 year old Yorkie mix little girl, who was rescued from a breeder. As such she will need a home that is very patient with her. She’s still learning to trust people; she doesn’t come to you willingly, but she will follow you at a safe distance. She is skittish around men. She is crate trained and will go into her crate willingly when she needs a break. She is dog friendly. She uses potty pads almost completely. She is food motivated, so that has helped with training. She did have to have 5 teeth pulled, but this has not caused her any problems eating dry food. She has been spayed and all her vaccines are up-to-date. With time and patience, she will be the sweetest pup. Gwyneth will need another pup in her forever home.To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt. Goob was purchased from a pet store in Lubbock, Tx in 2019. He has been a great little dog and has been my daughters fur baby for the past 7 years. Unfortunately he has become aggressive to our older lab, and I am afraid that either one or both of them are going to hurt each other. He is great by himself and does well as a indoor dog.
