Shelby is a doll despite a hard life. She was probably dumped as she just showed up to a nice family’s house. They had no fencing and they did not care if she wandered so she didn’t stay. We intervened when she continued to roam. We are getting her healthy despite neglect. She was so matted we had to cut her coat with scissors but she has since been groomed. It just makes her even more adorable. She is so sweet and gentle and never met a stranger. This girl is a jewel in the rough. She gets along with everyone…. Even cats! She loves outdoors but comes in when called. She loved our recent Arctic plunge and played on the sleet! Can you make her shine ? She will reward you with more love and loyalty than you can imagine.. She has been in a foster home so she has been well socialized and loves to go for walks. She is living indoors and is a wonderful companion. She deserves a permanent home and is ready! Ben was born in a high kill shelter on 2/3/2021. He was a day old when we brought him home along with his 10 siblings and his mother. All that remains is Ben and his mom Lily. They have been waiting patiently. But now it is thThis is Ben and he has been with Chloe’s Pet Rescue since he was a newborn. He is now going on three years old. We aren’t sure why he hasn’t found his “furever” home. He’s such a handsome guy. We believe he is an Akita/American Pit Bull mix. Ben is very friendly when meeting new people (after a few sniffs and he’s good to go) and is good with other dogs. In fact, if it looks like another dog wants to get into a tiff, he walks away. Ben is energetic and loves to go outdoors. He’s great walking on a leash, knows come here, stop, breakfast and dinner and is crate and house trained. One of his favorite things to play with is a ball. Something he does not like is rain and thunder. Don’t go out and buy a new bed for this guy because he will chew it up, just throw a blanket down and he is very content. Ben’s adoption fee is $25, which includes his full vetting.

Sweet Freya was on the streets avoiding capture for months. She finally decided that the cushy life looked pretty good! Now in a loving foster home where she loves to play with the resident dogs and children of all ages. She is house trained, great on a leash and not food aggressive. And she loves to talk and give kisses!!! Freya is about 2 years old, weighs 54 pounds, fully vaccinated and is HW negative. She will be spayed on March 5th and ready for her forever home. We adopt in the DFW and East Texas areas only (within 1 hours' drive from Terrell) as we deliver our pets to their new homes. A secure fence and vet reference are required.
