Akita Adoption in Seagoville, TX: Akita Puppies for Sale in Seagoville, TX

Meet Nelly Nelly is a beautiful 5 year old Akita mix with a gentle heart and an easygoing personality. She isn't the type who needs constant entertainment. She's perfectly happy relaxing on her own, but the moment you sit down to give her attention, she's all in for affection and love. She is housebroken, non-destructive, and gets along well with other dogs. Whether she's sharing a home with canine friends or soaking up the peace and quiet as your one and only, Nelly is simply happy to be part of the family. Nelly's story is a heartbreaking one. She was abandoned when the family she loved moved away, leaving her behind to fend for herself. Despite that betrayal, she has remained sweet, trusting, and full of love to give. Now all she wants is a family who will never leave her again. If you're looking for a loyal, calm companion who will happily spend her days by your side, Nelly is ready to start her next chapter with you. Story

Rasha is a four year old Akita with a goofy personality and a watchful nature. She loves a good game of chase, hiking, bike outings, and exploring outside. She also enjoys finding a high spot where she can perch and observe the world around her. Rasha has been wonderful with the people she’s met. She rides well in the car and walks nicely on leash, though she can get excited about an adventure. She does very well outside of a crate and can be crated with a little protest. She has lived successfully alongside other dogs in her foster home, but we describe her as dog tolerant. She doesn’t need a busy social life with other dogs, and any potential canine housemate will need thoughtful introductions and an individual assessment. Her foster is continuing to learn about her personality and preferences. Rasha is looking for a home that understands and appreciates Akitas, provides clear guidance, and enjoys spending time outdoors. She’s ready for her own people, her own adventures, and a place to call home.

Story

To say that Hanna adores human attention would be an understatement. This fluffy pup immediately mellows out whenever she receives affection from anyone – be it strangers, children, or the elderly. But don't be fooled by her antics. The moment it's time to return to her kennel, she unleashes the husky's trademark howl, serenading the shelter with her rendition of the "shelter dog blues." Her vocal prowess echoes throughout the center, leaving no doubt about her desire for companionship. In 2020, Hanna found her home through OHAR, where she lived alongside another dog and children. However, due to unforeseen hardships, her family faced tough decisions and returned her to OHAR. This turn of events has left Hanna heartbroken, yet she remains resilient, determined to find her fairy tale ending once again. Could you be the one to offer Hanna the love and stability she so deserves?Adoption Process: After your application is approved, a home visit is schedule.
