Funyun is full of love and is eager to have some fun in a foster home while they recover from an upper respiratory infection. Reason for Foster: URI Foster Time Frame: 2 weeks Foster Care Plan: Funyun is currently undergoing treatment for an upper respiratory infection, which is similar to a common cold. There is a possibility that they are contagious to other animals, so we strongly recommend keeping them separated in a bedroom or bathroom away from your personal pets until they have fully recovered. They will go home with medication and we will provide supplies and a medical consultation at pickup so you are fully prepared to care for this sweetie. I am available through our Foster to Adopt program. This program helps pets awaiting or under medical treatment be placed in with prospective adopters before they are made available for adoption. Ben was born in a high kill shelter on 2/3/2021. He was a day old when we brought him home along with his 10 siblings and his mother. All that remains is Ben and his mom Lily. They have been waiting patiently. But now it is thThis is Ben and he has been with Chloe’s Pet Rescue since he was a newborn. He is now going on three years old. We aren’t sure why he hasn’t found his “furever” home. He’s such a handsome guy. We believe he is an Akita/American Pit Bull mix. Ben is very friendly when meeting new people (after a few sniffs and he’s good to go) and is good with other dogs. In fact, if it looks like another dog wants to get into a tiff, he walks away. Ben is energetic and loves to go outdoors. He’s great walking on a leash, knows come here, stop, breakfast and dinner and is crate and house trained. One of his favorite things to play with is a ball. Something he does not like is rain and thunder. Don’t go out and buy a new bed for this guy because he will chew it up, just throw a blanket down and he is very content. Ben’s adoption fee is $25, which includes his full vetting.

Wesley Butters is a super sweet 10-year-old Akita/Husky mix. He is physically healthy, super sweet with people, but should be in a one-dog home - he does not behave well around other dogs, you shouldn't plan on taking him to the dogpark. At home, he wants to be with his people, loves belly scratches and butt rubs, treats and all the attention. When I adopted him a few years ago, no one had taught him how to play, and he still has no idea what to do with a ball. But wherever you are in the house, he will get comfortable near by, curl up and wait for you to give him pets. In the past months he has developed some anxiety, which can usually be calmed with medication, but with my work and travel schedule, I think he needs a home where he can have a loving owner making sure he gets what he needs. Adoption fee includes large crate, leash/harness, medicine to get you started.

We adopted Patty from the Flower Mound Animal Shelter on 8/07/24. She is 4 years old, super sweet, and a great family dog. The reason we have to give her up is that she won't stop chasing our 5 cats. She has a strong instinct to chase little furry animals. This is her ONLY issue! We took Patty to Petco and around the neighborhood, and she is very friendly with new people. She has a kiss for everyone! Patty has met several 8 and 9 year old kids and done very well with them, not jumping or knocking them around. She is accepting of new situations, and I would have no concern boarding her during a vacation. She has done well with our dog, and adapting to a new place. Patty is in great health, all shots current, spayed, microchipped, and she has white healthy teeth. She is housebroken, and there have been no incidents in that area, also no throwing up or upset stomach - even with the change from the shelter to our house. Please help us find a cat-free home for Patty.
