Dakota is a handsome name, kind of a "rugged" kind of name, right?? I am kind of a REFINED RUGGED kind of boy! NOT!! I am a snuggle bug looking for tummy scratches....I willl MELT for one!! Here is what one of our amazing fosters have to say about Dakota...."Super freaking sweet, loves loves belly rubs, is very strong when you walk him but listens well. VERY treat motivated and knows sit down paw and i just taught him roll over yesterday but its a work in progress 😝. Super playful, he will pounce around you and then roll over for belly rubs and absolutely melts for the belly rubs and kisses" I love playing and running with my doggy friends, however, I can lay at your feet very sweetly to beg for your attention. I am kind of like a "reverse" planter as well. I mean, you plant it and i will un-plant it for you :D I won't do it often, just when I want your attention and I am outside alone. So see?? you have great control over that urge! So I am a food and toy lover too, I eat out of a slow feeder bowl because wolfing down my food is not an option! I am learning all things toys and am actually learning how to bring the ball BACK after you throw it. I am a smart and very sweet boy. I do absolutely have a prey drive so no kitties for small furry mammals around me please. I am fully potty trained and great in a crate. Now i just need you to adopt me to complete my circle of life. Now, before you go all "Lion King" on me, just know that I will be your bestest buddy forever!! It makes me so sad to write this, but we are looking to re-home our sweet dog Lucy. We are moving and unfortunately are not able to bring her with us. We adopted Lucy during Covid, and she has been such a wonderful family dog ever since. She is incredibly loving, totally safe with kids, loves walks, being around people, scratches, and sneaking treats under the table at dinnertime. She doesn’t get on furniture and is perfectly content laying on a blanket at your feet just happy to be near her people. Lucy does have separation anxiety and has done some significant chewing in our home over the years. She has been on and off anxiety medication, though she generally seems calmer without it. She really loves being outdoors as much as possible, she is calmest and happiest there. Our dream would be to find her a home with a fenced yard — or even some land — where she can roam safely during the day, get lots of attention, and be surrounded by love. Thank you!

My name is Xavier from Korea and I am a wonderful approximately 5 month old male Akita - Jindo mix. I weigh approximately 14 lbs. and so excited to find my new forever home. I am very happy, affectionate, smart, and friendly. I was saved from the Korean kill shelter where I was due to be euthanized. The activists came and saved me and I can't wait to come to America and find a family to love and care for me forever. Approximately over a million dogs a year are slaughtered to be eaten. I am so lucky to get a one-way ticket to Seattle to find my new family. Take me on car rides, walks in the park, and I will become your best friend. I get along well with people of all ages, gentle kids, and other dogs. I will do best with a loving family that can give me lots of love, and affection! On all overseas adoption, we highly recommend our pet rescue dog trainer who will help train your new pup. My adoption fee of $1,295 will cover my spay/neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordetella, Deworm, Heart Worm Test, Microchip, Boarding Fees, Health Certificate and airline transport cost from Korea to Seattle. Skippy’s journey had a perfectly fairytale beginning -- he sneaked into his foster family’s yard to play with their resident dogs and was discovered the next morning. At the time, he was shy, having spent his life as a stray avoiding humans. But now, Skippy has blossomed into a happy and confident dog, excited to meet new people and enjoy life to the fullest. Skippy is incredibly dog-friendly, and he would thrive in a home with another energetic, playful dog. He’s a toy lover and has a habit of hoarding them, often stashing his toys in his bed and forgetting about them. He especially loves chasing footballs. He’s also learned several commands, including sit, stay, leave it, touch, and shake, and his playful, youthful energy makes him a great companion for active families or individuals who enjoy outdoor adventures.
