Dakota is a handsome name, kind of a "rugged" kind of name, right?? I am kind of a REFINED RUGGED kind of boy! For instance, I am a busy boy, I love playing and running with my doggy friends, however, I can lay at your feet very sweetly to beg for your attention. I am kind of like a "reverse" planter as well. I mean, you plant it and i will un-plant it for you :D I won't do it often, just when I want your attention and I am outside alone. So see?? you have great control over that urge! So I am a food and toy lover too, I eat out of a slow feeder bowl because wolfing down my food is not an option! I am learning all things toys and am actually learning how to bring the ball BACK after you throw it. I am a smart and very sweet boy. I do absolutely have a prey drive so no kitties for small furry mammals around me please. I am fully potty trained and great in a crate. Now i just need you to adopt me to complete my circle of life. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

FOREVER HOME NEEDED Introducing Hiro! He is a 3.5-year-old, 100lb Akita, who came to us from an overcroweded shelter in CA. Hiro is an awesome dog who is currently in foster care where he has been able to work on basic obedience, house manners, and being socialized with the world. He walks very well on leash, is treat motivated, and is up for any adventure. He has done well with other dogs and would make a great additional dog to a home or he would be fine as an only dog with continued socialization. He has a calm and mellow personality and is more than fine walking/sitting around observing the world with you. We are looking for an adopter with large breed experience and a standalone home with a yard for him. Hiro is a gentle giant that is going to make a wonderful addition to any lucky household that adopts him. And he’s definitely one handsome guy! birthday 10/19/2022 Benson is a really good boy. He has territorial aggression and would need to be in a home with no kids and a large yard. He is a very good listener, loves to play catch, loves the water but hasn’t fully swam yet but he figures it out. He could use some leash training during walking as he’s normally off leash at the park.

Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org Hi!  My name is Xavier from Korea and I am a wonderful approximately 5 month old  male Akita - Jindo mix.  I weigh approximately 14 lbs. and so excited to find my new forever home.  I am very happy, affectionate, smart, and friendly.  I was saved from the Korean kill shelter where I was due to be euthanized. The activists came and saved me and I can't wait to come to America and find a family to love and care for me forever.  Approximately over a million dogs a year are slaughtered to be eaten.  I am so lucky to get a one-way ticket to Seattle to find my new family.  Take me on car rides, walks in the park, and I will become your best friend.  I get along well with people of all ages, gentle kids, and other dogs.  I will do best with a loving family that can give me lots of love, and affection!  On all overseas adoption, we highly recommend our pet rescue dog trainer who will help train your new pup.  My adoption fee of $1,295 will cover my spay/neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordetella, Deworm, Heart Worm Test, Microchip, Boarding Fees, Health Certificate and airline transport cost from Korea to Seattle.   A GPS tracker or Apple Air Tag is required for all adopted dogs. You can bring your own when adopting or you can purchase an Air Tag from us   We cannot guarantee breed or age. Yuna is now just turning 5 years old. We hope her new home will have people who will give her love, attention, dedication, and snuggles. She will also need a home with someone who is able to give her exercise, she is not a highly energetic husky, but she does love to run and play. Yuna is extremely friendly and loving, and adores meeting new people and dogs. She is good with other dogs and would do well with a family that has another dog around her size, however, she does have some resource guarding issues regarding favored toys or treats and needs help with training to curb this behavior. Other than this, she is highly friendly and sweet with other dogs. Yuna is mostly potty trained, but has some challenges. She is attracted to peeing on carpet rather than waiting to go outside, and so does much better when she has no access to carpet (save for the room she sleeps in) and when she has a yard she can go to. She has made a lot of progress on this behavior. Apply for fluffy sweet love!

Spike is a "manly" kind of name, right?? I am a guy, so I must be "strong like bull" :) Actually I am kind of a goofball. Smart and silly, playful and happy- just grateful to be alive!! I was saved from a high high kill shelter in W Texas and have been here getting my heartworms treated and having friends and an actual life... but now my goal is to have an actual FAMILY too!! I am good with other dogs, although I am a dominant boy, so I need either to be an only dog or to have a submissive friend to hang with. I am also a husky and all that goes along with that breed applies, I am active, I need a husky knowledgeable family cause we are escape artists and shed A LOT!! I would love to get out of HOT-TEXAS and AC is my friend but cooler weather would be AMAZING!! Adopt me soon, I am ready!! This high energy pup is looking for a dog savvy home that can take on all kinds of adventures. Knox currently weighs 46 pounds and is still growing.Knox went on a Wondering Rover and they said, `Knox and I went on some walks and had a lot of playtime. Knox is definitely an extremely active girl who needs exercise daily. She is a total sweetheart who kisses and also gives little love bites, but she also bites when playing. The love bites are likely more of a puppy phase and the play biting will take some training to get the habit out of her. She also likes to jump up on you when excited. She was pretty nervous with the car at first and in the beginning I had to get in the backseat first and she’d follow, but by the end of the day she was getting in all on her own. Also she is an extremely good girl and very easy to redirect when distracted. We came across some ducks on the walk and she didn’t try to go after any of them even though you could tell she kinda wanted to. Overall we had a fun day full of playtime (she loves tug-of-war) and walks! Knox is a wonderful and beautiful girl and anyone would be lucky to have her!`
