Story
Ferdinand is a mellow gentleman who’s just waiting to meet you. At first, he doesn’t show much emotion, and he has some facial markings that make him look a bit dramatic. But once Ferdinand figures out you’re there to take him out, he’s all about it. He’s an easy-going leash walker and is friendly and well-behaved passing other dogs. If you’re looking for an adult member of your household, Ferdinand would be a great addition. He’s past the puppy stage, but still full of energy and curiosity. He will make a fine member of just about any new family. He appears to be housetrained.

Story
Hodor is staying in a loving foster home with children and 2 big dogs. He is a super sweet, gentle and affectionate husky. He's good with everyone but maybe not cats... Hodor walks well on leash, his foster family says he loves his neighborhood walks. He doesn't bark, but will serenade you with a beautiful howl when he's happy. This big boy would thrive in a home with a fenced yard and someone who can give him continue socialization, exercise and love!

MINT CHIP

Alaskan Malamute Husky

Male, 1 yr 3 mos
Martinez, CA
Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details
Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Volunteers describe him as playful, happy and great on leash. Favorite things: play fetch and loves water. His playstyle is Rough & Rowdy: involving lots of physical play such as grabbing, holding, and tumbling. It is typically mutual and often noisy. Human analogy: wrestling or rough housing. Socially, he’s selective which means he can play with some dogs but not successfully with all dogs. He would do best in a home where he is the only object of his human’s affection.
