Meet Ivory — A Beautiful Soul with a Smile as Big as Her Heart Ivory is a stunning 2-year-old, all-white pittie with a heart full of love and a smile that could light up any room. She came to us from Oakland Animal Services after running out of hope — and time. After swallowing a toy in the shelter, Ivory underwent major surgery and made a full recovery in a loving medical foster home. Sadly, going back to the shelter left her anxious and stressed. Thankfully, her amazing foster family welcomed her back, and she’s now thriving. At 56 pounds, Ivory is the perfect medium-large size — strong enough for adventures, yet the ultimate snuggle buddy. She’s doing great with house and crate training, and loves having structure and routine. Ivory is a medium-energy girl who enjoys hikes, long walks, and car rides, but she’s just as happy rolling in the grass or cuddling on the couch. Her joy is infectious — she’s always smiling, and her photos could melt even the coldest hearts. We’re still learning her quirks. She can be a bit cautious with new people or sudden changes, but warms up quickly with gentle handling. She’s affectionate, goofy, and wants nothing more than to love and be loved. Ivory enjoys other dogs, especially those her size or larger who match her respectful, playful energy. Because of her strength and sensitivity, she’d do best in a home with big-dog or pittie experience — someone who can offer consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement. Ivory is smart, eager to please, food-motivated, and a fast learner. She just needs someone willing to guide her with love and celebrate her progress. Our dogs are in foster homes all over the Bay Area and all adopters are required to travel to the foster home to meet. We do not have a facility. No meet and greet can happen until application is completed. Rosie is a large 80-pound American Bully. We took her in after her owner was evicted from his home and couldn't take her with him. She has had puppies and is not spayed yet. The vet says she's between 4 and 5 years old and do not have any health issues. Her coat does need consistent washing and brushing. We're not sure if she is good with other dogs or cats because they make her a little anxious. She has a strong prey drive and we have other small pets, so she is looking for a home where she won't be tempted to chase other animals. She doesn't have a lot of energy, but loves people. She really only barks if someone startles her or if she needs something. She doesn't mind heavy equipment, bikes, or loud noises. You can tell when she's excited if her tail is wagging or when she's breathing loud. She's great with any people, even kids.

Samson was born July 3rd, 2022. He is a loving, high energy dog. I’m looking for somebody that will take care of him properly. He needs plenty of space to run around, walks, attention. These are all things that we wish we could give him more of. He is crate trained. We are looking for a new home for him because we feel we don’t have the time with our schedules to give him the life he deserves going forward. He truly is a good dog and we wish our circumstances were different. We will include his crate and food bin.

Mia is a super sweet 41 lb bulldog mix. Mia has been sweet and gentle with people and other dogs alike. She currently lives with a 25 lb poodle mix she loves to play with. Mia is young and loves to play, but overall she's pretty laid back and doesn't need a ton of exercise to be happy. She loves playing with toys. Mia is mostly house trained and does fine either in a crate or free roaming in the house. She takes a second to warm up to new people but once she does is super snuggly and affectionate. This girl will make one lucky family very happy!
