Food-motivated and focused: He’s very treat motivated and happily shows off “sit” and “paw.” Once he knows you have snacks, he locks in with impressive focus and attentiveness. Playful and affectionate: He enjoys toys and absolutely loves booty scratches. Trainable and redirectable: Pomodoro may watch passing dogs with interest, but he can be easily redirected with treats. At around 95 pounds, Blue is a mellow companion who’s happiest enjoying the simple things—slow walks, sunny naps, and spending time with his people. Blue is friendly with everyone he meets, including kids (he’s currently living with a 6-year-old) and other dogs. On walks, he’s shown no interest in cats and may be cat tolerant. He loves getting out for his daily strolls but keeps things relaxed—no marathon hikes required here. He’s a great leash walker and may even have some off-leash skills. Blue is also a fan of car rides (he’ll happily hop in for any outing) and—believe it or not—doesn’t mind bath time either. Blue is a well-trained, polite housemate.
