Adopt Pluto This handsome boy found a foster home to wait in until he finds a furever home. Pluto’s story is very heartbreaking . He didn’t deserve the fate that he had when his owner stabbed him almost to death! He was taken to the ER and revived by his amazing hospital staff. He was taken to the shelter and that’s where we were able to take him in. Pluto Does GREAT on walks!! He also Does well with other dogs, he also pays little to no attention to other dogs on walks and he seems to mind his own. Pluto plays fetch, 100% and prefers squeak toys He gets a little fixated on cats but hasn’t met any in the same home yet. Pluto honestly is overall such a great dog and i think any family would definitely love him ! Pluto is neutered, vaccinated, chipped and ready for a home. He came from neglect and had so much trauma to his body. He was stabbed by a human and lives to find a better life! His ER nurse helped him recover and then became his foster! Pluto didn’t deserve such abuse and now he gets a chance to find a home. He might be around 3 years old and has a whole life ahead of him! Pluto was rescued from the Stanislaus animal shelter. He loves people, plays wonderfully with other dogs, and charms everyone with his full-body wiggles and gentle, goofy smile. This boy is house-trained, crate-trained, and knows his basics – sit, down, name recall, and more. He’s never had an accident indoors and follows house rules like a pro. He’s got a great balance of energy: playful when it's time, and calm with a toy or stuffie when it’s not. Arrow walks nicely on leash after a few excited puppy steps. He’s respectful with other dogs and is cat-workable too. His clumsy enthusiasm makes him best suited for homes with older kids.
