Story
Meet Bulldozer! 🐾 3-Year-Old Purebred American Bully | DNA Tested | Big Heart, Bigger Personality Bulldozer is a high-energy, water-loving cuddle bug who's as goofy as he is affectionate. He’s happiest when splashing in a lake, chasing sticks, or crunching empty water bottles—then promptly collapsing in your lap for snuggles. A true velcro dog, Bulldozer wants to be your constant companion and will happily follow you from room to room, tail wagging all the way. He’s already learned Sit, Down, Wait, and Heel, and is currently in training to fine-tune his manners. His trainer is so committed to his success that they're offering free maintenance lessons for life to his adopter. He walks well on leash but needs gentle reminders to stay calm when he's excited (and he's excited often—joy is kind of his thing). Bulldozer is cat-friendly and dog-friendly with slow, structured introductions. He’s still learning doggy social cues, so he needs a savvy owner who can help guide his continued growth. Due to his breed and temperament, prior bully breed experience is a must—he thrives with confident, experienced humans who can help him regulate his excitement and navigate the world. Health-wise, Bulldozer has Hyperuricosuria (HUU), a manageable genetic condition that requires him to stay on a prescription urinary diet to prevent bladder stones. His forever family should be prepared to keep up with this important lifelong dietary need. Bulldozer is looking for a committed, loving home that understands his unique needs and is ready to embrace his big personality, wiggly cuddles, and continued training journey. In return, he’ll give you his whole heart—every single day. Ready to bulldoze your way into his heart?

Personality:  quiet, cautious, blind &#226&#128&#139&#226&#128&#139&#226&#128&#139 Breed:  Bulldog/Husky mix Age : 9 weeks &#226&#128&#139&#226&#128&#139 Weight: &#226&#128&#139&#226&#128&#139 Sex:  female Rescued from San Jose. Stevie sweet, curious and trusting. She is blind, so a little bit wary of her world, can be nervous and agitated when her siblings play too rough. She has a huge appetite and really just wants to eat and go back to sleep. Not super high energy, but also just quiet and careful. She will need someone who knows how to care for blind dogs or invested in learning. Their first foster did a DNA test that says they're majority Bulldog & Husky. www.coppersdream.org If you are interested in adopting this dog please visit this link to get the adoption process started. We hold adoption events from San Francisco to the South Bay. Most dogs will be ready to go home the day of the adoption event. We accept credit cards and cash for our adoption fees. While adoption events are a great showcase for these amazing dogs, you don't need an adoption event to adopt a dog.  Check out our adoptable pups, submit an application, and then meet them at their foster home! We try to post the dogs that are attending on Facebook before the event, please visit and like us on Facebook. To View other dogs up for adoption please visit our website. November 30, 2025, 7:09 pm

Story
Hey there friends, my name is Tank Top! I'm a 3 year old, 65lbs., neutered male Bulldog/Staffordshire Terrier mix.  I'm an outgoing, confident fellow that is energy personified. I adore hanging out with my favorite human friends and literally jump for joy when I see them. My favorite game in the world is fetch and I can play it all day long. I would love to meet the whole family including any resident dogs before going home as I can be a bit rough and tumble when I play. I may be on the bigger side but if you let me, I'll climb right into your lap for some cuddles. Story
OMG! I'm so excited to meet you, my name is Butternut! I'm a 9 month old, spayed female Bulldog mix that currently weighs around 27 lbs. but could be close to 40lbs. when fully grown. I'm a silly, energetic girl loves treats, toys and of course affection. I adore meeting new human friends and am working on politely meeting new doggy friends (the staff and volunteers say I'm getting a lot better). I'm a pretty confident gal that has a great 'sit' and can't wait to learn even more. So, if I sound like the pup for you, bring the whole family down including any resident dogs to meet me.  Butternut ID#A977179  Unless otherwise indicated, adoptable animals are located at our Lantos Center for Compassion at 1450 Rollins Road, Burlingame, CA 94010.  You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Gentle Soul Girl Meet Lila! This sweet and gentle girl is new to SVPP and just beginning her journey of discovering what it means to be a beloved pet—and we’re already smitten! Her DNA test helped us get to know her a bit better. This beautiful dog is part American Bully, part German Shepherd, and 100% sweet! Lila may be a little shy at first, but it doesn’t take long for her affectionate personality to shine through. Once she feels safe, she quickly warms up to new people and enjoys their company. She’s already made friends with another young dog in her foster home and shows respectful deference to the semi-feral resident cat—what a polite pup! Having spent her first year living outdoors, life in a home is full of “firsts” for Lila. She’s picking up house training beautifully and is bravely learning all about new things like TVs, vacuums, and sprinklers. Every day brings a new adventure, and Lila is meeting it all with curiosity and courage. She’s a dream on leash—calm and composed, though she can’t help but get a little excited when she spots birds or squirrels. Car rides? No problem! Lila enjoys tagging along with her foster mom and taking in the sights. After a bit of backyard squirrel patrol, she’s all about snuggling up indoors for some well-earned cuddles. Lila is spayed and ready for her forever family!  Age: ~1 year House Trained: Yes Good with Dogs: Yes Good with Cats: Yes Good in the Car: Yes Leash Manners: Great, non-reactive (except to squirrels and birds!) Lila is ready to find her forever family—could that be you?  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 9, 2025, 8:52 pm

Story
Foster, Adopt OR Foster-to-Adopt me! Sweet pittie Tito has beautiful eyes, a contagious grin… and a purr?    Tito is a gentle and healthy 2+ year-old boy.  He is potty-trained, walks on a loose leash, and knows sit, down, stay, come, shake & touch.  Tito loves the treats he gets when learning new tricks, so he is easy and fun to train.   Tito likes to spend most of his day snoozing, preferably with his head resting somewhere on your person.  He enjoys walks, but would rather burn off energy playing tug with you or wrestling with another dog.  This quiet boy rarely barks, but makes piggy snuffling sounds when he’s interested in or happy about something.  (When he’s relaxed, the snuffling sounds like a purr.  We think he’s a pittie-pig-cat hybrid.)   Tito loves befriending anyone who offers cuddles and a treat.  If you sit in his presence, you have invited him to climb onto your lap and kiss your face.  And then to lie down on your lap for a lengthy snooze, interrupted by brief breaks for more cuddles and kisses.   Tito loves all other dogs.  He was curious when introduced to a cat, but rapidly decided this was another nap-and-cuddle buddy.  We recommend Tito not live with children under 5; he loves kids, but doesn’t understand he’s too big to sit on their laps.  Tito needs a patient family that commits to positive training methods – this gentle boy needs spoiling, not discipline! If you can give that to Tito, he will repay you with silliness, loyalty, and love.   Please let us know if Tito is a match for your home by filling out our online application:  http://www.tinyurl.com/AdoptMeNow .  We look forward to arranging a meet and greet!October 30, 2025, 2:14 am
