Tootsey is happy trotting smushface. Talk about being greeted with a smile everyday when you come home. She is a love bug, she enjoys belly rubs and quality time. Toots girl was sadly left behind by an owner that passed from a car accident. She and her mother found shelter and safety with a foster that has tended to them for an extended period of time. This sweet girl is crate trained, walks nicely on a leash, is a friendly pup to all people. She is somewhat of a slug and little hippo. She enjoys laying around in heaps of fluff, eating yummy treats and bringing loving vibes to any home. Tootsey would love to live in a family but as an only dog or pet. She doesn’t do the best with other animals but is easy to control and would be more than happy to have a beautiful yard to herself. Appa is a 2-year-old Johnson-type American Bulldog, born April 1, 2023. Appa is goofy, playful, energetic, and affectionate once he’s comfortable. He can be skittish in new environments and benefits from patience and consistency while adjusting. He has a strong prey drive and cannot live with small animals, cats, birds, or small dogs. He may do best with dogs his size or larger following proper introductions. He has done well around children. Appa requires an experienced adopter familiar with strong, working-type breeds. He is intelligent but stubborn and would benefit from structured training and clear boundaries. Appa has one documented bite incident in a high-stress situation and has not bitten again. Because of this, he needs an adult, experienced home that understands dog behavior and management. We are seeking a new home because our household can no longer meet his needs safely or appropriately. Our goal is to place Appa in an environment where he can succeed long-term.

Meet Oreo – Your Perfect-Size Snuggle Buddy Who doesn’t love an Oreo? I’m Oreo, an 11-month-old, 43-pound bully mix from Texas, and I’m just the right size for your heart and your couch. I’m a curious, affectionate pup who loves to watch the world from the window—dogs, people, squirrels, you name it. I’m super food-motivated and eager to please, which makes training a breeze, especially if treats are involved. I may take a second to figure out what you’re asking, but I always try my best to get it right. Physical touch is my love language—I’m a total Velcro dog who needs to be close to my people at all times. I adore snuggles, belly rubs, and go absolutely crazy for butt scratches. I’m playful, goofy, and love curling up next to you (or on you, if you’ll let me). In my foster home, I live with another dog and we get along great. We enjoyed running and playing together at the dog park. I’m fully potty trained and sleep soundly through the night in my crate without any accidents. I’m also good on a leash and enjoy going for walks. I’ve seen children at adoption events and have done well with them, but I don’t currently live with any. I haven’t met any cats yet, so I’m not sure how I’d feel about them. 🐾 Meet Fletcher – A Loyal Soul Learning to Trust Again 🐾 Fletcher’s story didn’t start kindly. He came to us from a Texas shelter where dogs are euthanized for space, and he was running out of time. We don’t know the full details of his past, but it’s clear Fletcher loved his humans deeply — and was abandoned and let down. When Fletcher arrived, he had a large scar on his back leg, a quiet reminder of the neglect he endured before rescue. The injury rarely causes him to limp, and he has been fully vet-checked and medically cleared. It’s an old injury and no further medical care is needed. Because of this history, Fletcher is slow to warm up. He wants to love again, but he’s afraid to give his whole heart and risk being hurt another time. Once he trusts you, his loyalty is unmatched. 🏡 At Home Fletcher is a champion sleeper and an elite cuddler. He’s calm, laid-back indoors, and happiest curled up next to his person — often taking over the entire bed. A home that doesn’t mind a bed hog is a must! 🐶 With Other Dogs Fletcher does great with other dogs and enjoys their company, but he needs slow, respectful introductions.
