DOB:  7/18/23                        Current Weight(as of 11/22/23):  18.4 Lbs Adoption Fee: $250 includes 1 week trial to ensure everyone's happiness.  Jerry is a very good boy. He loves people and other dogs! We are working on potty training and he is doing very well, and he sleeps all night in the kennel. He loves playing with toys especially any that squeak! He will walk on a leash right next to you and is just happy to be by your side! All he needs now is a home and lots of love Puppies are NOT housebroken and should not be expected to wait more than 1 hour for each month of age to go out to potty. Please make sure that you have a “potty plan” in place if considering adoption. All of our puppies have been spay/neuter, wormed, microchipped, and given age appropriate vaccinations. We show our dogs by appointment only. If you are interested in adopting Bear, please fill out our online application at kcpaws.petfinder.com.  Bear is the sweetest lab/pit mix. He’s a shy, lazy big puppy that loves his walks, playing with other dogs, snuggling and sun bathing outside. Bear was abused by his last owner so he’s scared of everyone he firsts meets. Once he warms up to someone he loves to cuddle up next to them while he takes one of his many naps throughout the day. Since Bear suffered so much trauma with his last owner he’s still learning how to be a dog. He mimics his 2 sisters every move. They also are his best friends and safety blankets. Bear would need to be in a home with another dog. He would also do best in a home without a lot of commotion. Due to his previous trauma he’s very skittish of loud noises and a lot of movement.  Bears owners are rehoming him because they are having a baby and have decided that they can't keep him now that they are going to be busy with the baby and having people over often, which is stressful for Bear as it takes him a while to warm up to new people.  Bear is an extremely sweet dog that just needs a little emotional support and patience. He is smart and would benefit from continued training. Bear does great at doggy daycare and would make a great playmate for another dog.November 30, 2023, 11:50 am

Krew is a very happy guy! This extrovert loves getting attention, especially butt scratches. He will happily greet you when you first meet him and snuggle right up to you. Krew has yet to meet someone he doesn't like! He's reported to be a big fan of kids, snuggles, and playing catch with his toys. He has lived in a home with other dogs, small children, teens, and adults. He is not a fan of kitties, though and needs a cat free home. He also would like to be a world traveller, as he can jump a fence to go exploring. He is house trained and kennel trained!Krew recently went on a dog day out, and here's what they had to say about him:"Krew is a perfect dog - he's a great listener and super smart. He's very affectionate, loves to cuddle and give kisses. Krew enjoyed the car ride from and to the shelter. He's an excellent co-pilot when buckled in. Made himself right at home and took lots of naps. He loves to tag along and gets very excited when he sees you grab the leash to go outside. He pulls on leash, but after a few minutes he'll walk right. Krew will sit and take treats nicely. He also makes the cutest noises while waiting for his treats and while playing."Stop by the KC Campus for Animal Care to meet this lovebug today. Bonus - His ADOPTION FEE IS WAIVED!! Krew has been waiting for his forever family to find him for over 30 days. In an effort to help dogs with longer stays get adopted more quickly, the fee has been waived.

Bella is learning to navigate her world as a new tripod. She is doing it with grace and is ready for her new beginning! Bella's foster reports that she is the BEST companion. Best of all, she is great towards the kids! She loves their cuddles and loves. Bella is house trained She sleeps quietly in her crate all night and when there are errands to run. Oh, she talks in her sleep, a lot! Bella is house trained and knows sit, down, come, and stay. She is very smart and easy to train! Bella's favorite pasttime is playing. She loves toys of all kinds and can entertain herself, or is happy to play with humans or dogs! Bella has previously lived with kids and dogs. She would love to meet the whole family before going home! The beautiful Bella is currently living in a foster home.
