This is my baby Reina. I got her two years ago on April 16 right when she was a little baby. Unfortunately her dad didn't take care of her well enough and she ended up escaping him. After a lot of arguments with her dad I finally found her at a shelter up north. I adopted her and took her to the vet right away to have all her shots up to date, spayed, and microchipped. I am a college student so I still live with my parents which made it difficult but I still had hope that I could be the best mommy I could be to her. I bought her all the toys, a big comfortable bed, and the best treats. Unfortunately she wasn't use to living with other dogs and thats when the fights broke out. Since I still live at my parents house it makes hard for me to have enough space for her. She does great in her kennel, potty trained, and only chews on her toys. I love my baby but Im just not in the position to get my own place and I want her to have a great home where she is safe and gets all the attention.

This big, beautiful boy had a horrible start in life. Nolan spent his first three years at the end of a large, very heavy chain. His days consisted of nothing but loneliness which must have been especially heartbreaking for him as he just loves people and attention.  Nolan is, understandably, a little shy at first but give him about 2 seconds and he will turn into the biggest lover you have ever met!  He loves to lean into you to get as close as he possibly can while he looks up at you with adoration.  Every day more and more of his adorable personality comes to light!  Everyone who meets this boy falls immediately in love, it's impossible not to!   Approximate Birthdate:  June 2018 Adoption Fee: $200 TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a TWO WEEK TRIAL. This big, beautiful meathead of a boy is known by some as King Henry, maybe because of his very sophisticated . . . hold up a minute. There are many wonderful things to be said about this guy, but sophisticated isn't one of them, which explains why his foster mom has started calling him Squishy. He has the most squishable cheeks, to be sure! It's not just appearance, though. In addition to having squishy cheeks, he also has a squishy sweet personality, too. Such a marshmallow! He adores being with (or on!) his person and being petted. One of his favorite things is to nap in the shade while you're reading in the hammock outside. Squishy will happily help in the yard, too, if you're looking for an assistant. He wouldn't mind compensation in the form of a frozen treat, if you're so inclined. He still has some of that adorable puppy energy and enjoys playing with his ball. Actually, he's usually carrying one around in his mouth, so you won't have to look far! We don't yet know how King Henry aka Squishy is with children or other dogs, but we think he could happily live with an indoor kitty with a slow introduction. Marvin is a Big ham, around 7 - 8 years old,  who loves belly rubs and meeting new friends everywhere he goes. If you meet Marvin, he will likely sit on your feet to prevent you from walking away as he would prefer you stay and pet him for all of eternity. Marvin's life wasn't always belly rubs and chicken snacks, he was found by KCK animal control severely emaciated, absolutely skin and bone. He had sores all over his ears from fly strikes and was heartworm positive.  But Marvin is a trooper, he butt wiggled his way through all of his medical treatment and is now a whopping 75 lbs of love and cuddles. Unfortunately, He's still been waiting for a forever home for about 3 years! Marvin loves toys and loves to burrow in his soft blankets. He will do just about anything for a snack and really loves to go for walks. Marvin gets along well with dogs around his size as long as they are pretty respectful, he doesn't appreciate dogs that like to jump all over him right off the bat.  Marvin is potty trained from what we can tell as he keeps his room here at the shelter very clean! Hello, I am sadly looking to rehome my Wally boy. He is a great dog, and I am rehoming because my schedule does not allow for him to have the life I want for him. I adopted Wally two years ago from a shelter and have loved having him as part of my family. Though we are not certain, he is around 8 years old. Wally is a love bug who’s favorite activities are snuggling and sleeping. I am looking for a home where he is going to have a lot of attention, will have someone home with him more often than not, and preferably as the only animal. Wally is house trained, kennel trained, and knows basic commands (sit, kennel, come here, stay), though he can be stubborn at times. He does not realize how big he is and wants to sit in your lap or on your feet. He currently lives with a dog, but I am not sure how he does with other pets, so I would prefer that there are no other animals. He loves kids, but probably wouldn’t be a great choice for kids under 3 as he might knock them over in excitement.

My brother has been in and out of the hospital this year. He has a year old Boxer/Lab mix. My brother will not be returning home and will be entering a nursing home. I picked his dog, Sadie, up Sunday and brought her to my place. I rent and am not permitted to have any pets, even with an additional fee, per the lease agreement. I contacted the landlord and was told I could keep her for a week. I have to find a place for her by Sunday, Sept 10th. About Sadie. My understanding is she’s approximately a year old and is a Boxer/Lab mix. She has been spayed, rabies vaccinated, and is good with other dogs and children. I’ve had Sadie since Sunday, 9/2. She is super sweet and affectionate. She does not like to be alone and follows me everywhere. She seems to be potty trained - she lets me know when she needs outside. Sadie LOVES to play and chew. She will bring the ball back to you. I purchased her very strong balls and chew toys that she’s not been able to tear up. She’s very active.
