Story
Poppy Poppy is a joy to be around! Her happy, bouncy personality and precious expression makes her a bright spot in my day. She loves being held and played with, and gives twice the affection back. Very sweet natured, she has mastered the doggy door and pads, so house training is going great. She is very well socialized with dogs of all sizes, cats, loves children and adults. She easily crates and sleeps all night long. Fully vetted for her age, microchipped and spayed she is ready to find her new lucky family. Story
Have you ever seen such expressive eyes as those you see here on our puppy called Sweetie Pie?   She just looks at your with such interest and curiosity that she seems to make you think that she knows exactly what you are saying to her.  This girl was born around October 1st and is only 4 pounds at 9 weeks of age.   You might ask us what her breed is?  Well we think a little bit of everything but the kitchen sink?   She came in at a small Tennessee shelter with her littermates and no adult parents that we knew about.  We think this girl could be said to have a little bulldogs in her, small Terrier or Feist in her DNA as well.  She is a loving sweetheart that is very playful with other puppies and dogs. She enjoys playing with the cats and kittens in the house as well and she is learning new games everyday.  She adores tug of war and playing with the resident Pug who lives at the foster home fulltime and we think they have a mother daughter relationship that will always be solid as a rock between them.  Sweetie Pie pee pad trained and is a very mello puppy for such a young puppy.  We think she will be a 25 pound adult dog one day.  If you are interested in this girl with the inquisitive face and eyes, please email us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   We are Critter Cavalry Rescue and we can transport. northward as well as adopt to Tennessee where we originate.  Tell us where you live:  city and state. PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comDecember 4, 2023, 10:52 am

Story
CHARLESTON IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN. CHARLESTON WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO PA ONCE HE IS ADOPTED!    This hunk is Charleston. He is a four year old Bulldog mix. He is the sweetest fun loving goofball. He is a big boy who loves attention. He wants you to pet him, and he wants to lean into you with his whole body. He does not meet a stranger in a person or dog. He loves playing in the backyard with his toys, and then lounging on the porch sunbathing. He gets excited to go anywhere. He will run to the door and wait for you to let him out- then he jumps right in the car. This adorable boy has the most stunning eyes. We believe Charleston has some hearing loss. He seems to hear some pitches, but either doesn’t hear the others or ignores them. He does good walking on a leash, is kennel trained, and house trained. He loves greatly- he will become your shadow. If he wants your attention he will whine/talk to you to let you know. Charleston is a big boy with still a lot of puppy energy so a home with older children would be best. This guy is amazing, and deserves the perfect forever home! He is fully vetted, neutered, and microchipped.  His adoption fee of $500 includes the transport to PA.  We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Charleston up north to his new family.   If you have any questions, please email us at:   newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com You can apply to adopt Charleston  here: www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET!  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 3, 2023, 6:15 pm

Story
Joan of Barc was dumped on the side of the road in Alabama nearly dead. The vet said she was almost bred to death. She had heart-worms and various other injuries, but she's now HW free, spayed, and healthy! Because of her questionable former life she does not do well with cats, and is currently in training and getting better with dogs each time. She doesn’t know how to interact with them and gets over-excited and makes them uncomfortable. She LOVES humans, big and small. She's been around children and is amazing with all ages. Older kids would be better because she is strong and sometimes forgets her strength. She is house trained and crate trained; and along with her training on how to interact with other dogs, she is learning leash walking and other basic commands. She is very food motivated and extremely smart, picking up new training in no time. She also redirects from stressful situations very easily as long as you have a treat. :) She has an average amount of energy but her favorite pastime is chewing on water bottles and watching TV. She is a very gentle soul and the bestest girl. She was abused in her previous life and deserves to live in luxury the for the rest of it. She needs someone looking for a companion, but it doesn't matter what kind - family, adventure, couch potato- she can do it all. She just enjoys life now that it's not at the end of a chain. She's the bestest, sweetest doll baby and all she needs is a chance. Things she excels at: 🐶 Napping 🐶Snuggling 🐶 Helping with household chores 🐶 Zoomies 🐶Snacking Watch our Facebook video here If Joan would be the perfect addition to your family, please apply💜! If interested in adopting one of our available pets, please fill out an application at http://www.dixiegirldogrescue.org/adoption-application PLEASE MAKE NOTE- OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN ALABAMA (UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED), OUR DOGS TRANSPORT NORTH TO THEIR NEW FAMILIES AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN ADOPTED. Our rescue pets are fostered in Southern foster homes (unless otherwise stated) and are posted for adoption once they are completely vetted and ready to travel. Our pets are adoptable in Alabama and New England States. Our adoption fee includes transport fee, spay/neuter, current vaccinations, deworming, heart worm test for animals over 7 months old, all necessary vetting and an interstate health certificate. Once an application is received, our team is happy to answer all of your questions and send additional pictures and videos. Thank you for thinking rescue!

Kathy has been with PACK9 since December 2022. She has celebrated countless holidays with her foster family. She has attended numerous adoption events. She even had a birthday. But yet no one came for her… 4 y/o, 65 lb, bully mix HW negative & spayed up to date on vaccines/preventatives house trained crate trained excellent kisser working on not hugging humans kid friendly but again, a hugger loves all treats and toys not a fan of felines dog selective; can live solo or with the right match Maybe someone will finally request to meet her in Dillsburg, PA? We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting, please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $350 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs.  Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $400 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate. We are an all-volunteer organization, and we are always looking for more help. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Hello there, I'm Coraline, and I'm here to share my story with you. You might have guessed it; I was named after the movie "Coraline," and just like the adventurous spirit in the film, I'm ready to explore the world and find my forever family. Now, I have a few quirks to share with you. I can get a little overexcited and jumpy when I'm excited to see you. It's kind of like when Coraline found that hidden door - my enthusiasm just can't be contained. But don't worry, underneath it all, I'm as sweet as the buttons on Coraline's other mother. I have a little treasure-hunting talent too. If you cover treats, I'll dig around to find them, just like Coraline discovered secrets in her new world. While I'm busy working on a bone, I love pets, and I might even come over and sit in your lap to enjoy some extra affection. Much like Coraline's cat, I appreciate the warmth and company. I'm very friendly and playful, and I love to have fun. But here's the thing, when it comes to taking treats, I can be a bit "mouthy." It's like I'm so hungry for love and attention that I can't help but be enthusiastic. It's just my way of saying how much I enjoy your company. So, if you're looking for a furry friend with a bit of spunk and a whole lot of sweetness, I'm here, ready to join your adventure. Let's make memories together, just like Coraline did in her fantastical journey. Come meet me, Coraline, and let's start our own story of love and companionship.
