Story
Age:5 Weight: 65 Location: Holland, PA Nicknames: Goodness Good with other dogs?: Yes. She is said to be good with other dogs according to her original family who surrendered her due to a family emergency. Good with cats? other: I do not know but her paperwork says she is fine with other animals Good with children? unknown, will not be adopted to a home with kids under 10 Activity Preference: Low maintenance overall but needs quality outside time., Will go with the flow IQ: Smart Story's favorite things: Story is good at: meeting people, behaving in the house, going for car rides, walking on a leash, cuddling Ideal home: other: Story will be happy anywhere she gets love and care. Training Needs: Health issues: She is recovering from some minor health problems as a result of being in a shelter. Otherwise she is healthy. Meet Story If you are searching for a perfectly behaved dog who is sweet and loving, your search is over. Story is pure goodness. I have always had Aussies and Retrievers that are super excitable. Story is calm and even. She rolls with whatever is happening. She does not complain or bark. She is loving and follows me around but is not needy. We are stuck in the snow with sub-zero temperatures at the moment with no sidewalks or grass to be seen but I think she would like to go for walks. She likes sticks, bones and belly rubs. When I left her alone in the house initially, I put up some gates but she outsmarted them. She did not bother anything. She now has free range of my home. PLEASE READ: Adopters will not be considered without completing an application. Please visit www.AmericanBulldogRescue.org to apply! Remember - Adoption is always the best option! If you can't help by adopting a homeless pet, please consider making a tax-deductible donation to American Bulldog Rescue, 4 Terry Drive, Suite 1D Newtown, PA 18940 or paypal AmericanBulldogRescue@verizon.net. We cannot place dogs in homes with children under 10 unless that dog has lived with kids or is in a foster home with kids. Thank you. To be considered for adoption, you must apply using our free, online application. Our dogs are fostered in our volunteers' homes, not in a central shelter/location. Only approved applicants are put into contact with the foster family to setup a meeting with the foster dog. Story
Reign is a beautiful 3-year-old American Bulldog who is truly a "big baby" at heart. She loves nothing more than hard cuddles and playing with her toys. She is very food-driven and crate trained. Personality-wise, Reign can be a bit timid when meeting new people and needs some patience for socialization. However, once she smells you and feels safe, she warms up quickly and immediately demands cuddles. Despite her size, she is gentle and has been great around newborns and infants. We are making the difficult decision to rehome her because we recently had a son and are at the hospital with him every day. We have been away from home constantly, finding it near impossible to provide the care and attention she needs in our current situation. Reign is an intact female ready for a patient owner who can give her the time and stability we currently cannot provide.

Please contact Marilyn at 856-275-6905 for more information about this pet.  This dog is located in Newark, DE. Visit us on the web at https://fur-everpaws.com/fur-ever-paws-adoption-application/ to submit an application. Please contact the foster directly at 856-275-6905 (call or text) or via email at Fureverpawsdogrescue@gmail.com&#226&#128&#139 Fur Ever Paws Dog Rescue is a small no kill rescue operating in the Delaware/Maryland area. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit that rescues and places homeless, neglected or abused dogs from high-kill shelters in the south into loving, responsible committed and permanent homes. We feel our comprehensive adoption process which includes not only taking the time to match the dog to the prospective new owner but helping to educate that owner in responsible dog care, allows us to find the best homes for our little buddies and the best companions for you! Each week we use USDA certified transports to bring dogs from high-kill shelters in the south to our fosters where they all receive the appropriate medical care and are placed in nurturing loving homes while they await placement in their forever homes. Interested in one of our dogs? Great! Now that you've seen them here, you'll need to go to our website where you'll find our list of adoptable dogs (updated every week). Then, it's just a simple process of finding a dog you're interested in and filling out an application on our site. Once we receive your application, whoever is fostering that particular dog will contact you and do a short over the phone interview to complete your application process. If everything works out, they will set an appointment with you so come out and "visit" with the dog you're interested in (we want to make sure that not only are you a good fit for the dog but that the dog will fit with you). If everything works out, you'll be able to take rover (or spot, or jax) home with you that very day. A couple of things you should know: We can't hold dogs over the phone or via email. Adoption fees vary based on breed. All of our dogs have been vet checked and dewormed (if possible due to age, additional treatment may be needed). We provide a spay or neuter voucher to all of our adopters. &#226&#128&#139 January 27, 2026, 1:19 pm

Story
Medusa is 3 years old and is calmer and more laid back than the other American Bulldog she has been raised with (see listing for Apollo). She is affectionate, observant, and enjoys a steady routine. While she still has the strength and presence of an American Bulldog, she is relaxed but very food motivated, making her a great candidate for training and bonding. Medusa would do wonderfully in a calm, structured home where she can continue to build trust and stability. She would be an excellent match for a family or individual looking for a loyal, steady companion. She is calm, gentle, and people-friendly. Has been raised around other dogs and is non-aggressive, reacting only if other dog is aggressive first. Has lived peacefully with a cat. Crate trained. Enjoys companionship and consistency. Food motivated making her easier to train and reinforce good behavior.
