He’s been treated for heartworm, and despite all he’s endured, his tail still wags, and his spirit shines through. Texas Pete is dog- and kid-friendly, though he’s a big guy — so little ones should be ready for some enthusiastic hugs and happy zoomies. We’re sure he has zero desire to share his home with cats. He’s house and crate trained, neutered, and up to date on vaccines. He rides wonderfully in the car and handled his long trip from Georgia to his foster home in Harrisburg, PA, like a true gentleman. Doc is a sweet boy who just loves his people. He just loves to be loved and loves to love you right back. Unfortunately, my husband and I have separated and I'm not sure where I will end up. I will not be able to take him with me. Wherever Doc winds up needs to have space for him to run. He is a fence hopper and he is quick so anytime he is outside he has to be on a leash and it's just not fair to him. He also likes to pee a lot and house training has been a bit of a struggle.

Kelce is a 2 year old XL Bully. She is the sweetest girl and loves to cuddle. At times, she doesn't know much about personal space...lol. She is energetic and a bit hyper when meeting someone new. She loves kids but gets excited and jumpy when introduced until she calms down. She does not seem to like other female dogs but appears to do okay with males. I am not positive if she likes cats to play with or to just chase them. My cats don't stick around long enough to find out. Kelce is very trainable. She is food, treat, and affection motivated. She currently knows "No, Ma'am", "Sit", "Stay", and "Wait." Kelce is an affectionate, loyal, and lovable pup.
