Thank you.*** Hi, my name is Steph, and I'm a sweet, fun, beautiful girl (or so all the nice volunteers here keep telling me), just waiting to find my family. I am about a year old and weigh 55 pounds. Apparently, I've got the cutest, most squishable wrinkly face you'll ever see, and I just love to lean in for love and be close to you. I'm a people-pleaser, always eager to learn and very in tune with my handler. I already know 'sit' and 'down', but I'd love to learn more with you by my side. I'm also a big fan of toys, especially when I get to show off my gentle mouth release. Being a playful and outgoing pup, I'd fit right into an active home where I can explore and adventure with my new family. I'm always up for a game, but I also know when it's time to snuggle up and relax. I will need a home where any children are at least 8 years old as I am kind of a bigger gal with an enthusiasm for life and sometimes don't realize my size. Gosh, I can't wait to find a family to love me, I promise I will try to be the best girl. Please come and meet me! He loves going for walks, playing with toys, learning new things, and then settling down for cuddles after he’s burned off some energy. He has been working on training, including muzzle training, and has done well with structure and consistency. Onyx would do best with an experienced, adult-only home that can continue building his confidence and provide him with regular exercise and clear boundaries. Like many energetic dogs, he can get overly excited when meeting new people but settles down with a little time. Rehoming him has been an incredibly difficult decision, but my goal is to find the home where he can truly thrive. I’m a mastiff/bulldog mix who was born around 8/14/21.I weigh about 80 pounds and have a heart full of love… and playfulness!! I’m now current on all my vaccines, but because my previous owners didn’t properly care for me I tested lightly for heartworms. But that’s ok… I’m. being treated for them on slow kill method by The Artemis Project, AND they will continue to provide and fund the medications for the duration of my treatment even after I am adopted… and I’m SO ready for a wonderful life and just waiting to go home with YOU and meet my new family. I have a calm personality and an easygoing nature. I'm a solid boy with a gentle way about me. I enjoys being close to my people, I walk nicely on leash, and I settle comfortably in a crate. I'm not high-energy or demanding — I'm totally content to just relax, keep you company, and be a steady, loyal presence in the home. I'm good with female dogs (we're not sure about male dogs or cats) and I'm crate trained too! I'm simply looking for a home where I can feel safe, appreciated and truly part of the family.
