My name is Lavender, and I'm so excited to find my family. I'm a gorgeous, loving girl who is so sweet, you'll fall in love with me instantly! I am about 2 years old and weigh 31 pounds. I love to be close to you and receive lots of affection. Be it through cuddles or just spending time together, I'm a true sweet soul who craves closeness. Everyone tells me I am such a well-mannered, sweet girl with the cutest little white paws. I can be a little shy at first though and hesitant of new things. With quick, sudden movements I may cower, but then I seek you out for comfort and reassurance. I can be submissive too, but with an experienced leader I can rely on, I know I can get over my hurdles. My adopter needs to have the time and patience to help build my trust and confidence, but I will be so worth it. I just know I will make such an awesome best friend. I am just brimming with love and affection and can’t wait to give it all to a family. I make everyone at the rescue laugh, I love to carry something around in my mouth and it seems to make me all wiggly and I love to show it to you, it makes me so proud. If it is a tennis ball, all the better! I will need a home where any children are calm, respectful and at least 4 years old though with my shy nature. If you have another nice doggy sibling, I would love to meet them. I do super cute playbows and have a nice balanced play style. I adopted JoJo from Do Only Good Rescue in 2022, she was 1 at the time. I have very suddenly and unexpectedly ended up in a situation where I am having to move to Ohio due to losing everything I have here other than my dogs. I can not take jojo with me due to the living situation. My ex that adopted her with me was supposed to take her but 2 days ago told me he can't. I reached out to Do Only Good but they said they are full and can not take her. I have exhausted every option as well as reached out to over 60 rescues and am out of time. I do not want to do this, it is literally my last choice. She is an 80 lb pit mix and she can be reactive but there are triggers. She has never bit a person loves everyone. She can be great wirh other dogs but when there is too much excitement she gets overwhelmed and gets into fights with my other dog. We have been able to just avoid those situations. She seems to be curious and wants to play with them but she gets too excit
