Story
My name is Mars! I am a pretty cool and laid back dude. I like to go for walks outside and see all the people! I love meeting new people because they gave me snacks and I love snacks! I play well with dogs, but cats are not my thing. I would prefer a home without them...but my home must have ALL the toys.Mars is up to date on his shots, neutered, and micro chipped.Thank you for showing an interest in our pets. We can never guarantee the breeds of the animals. We do not DNA test. Please feel free to call us with any questions.

Story
Skyler~born~May 2011Skyler was adopted from PAAW back in 2016 and was a loving and wonderful companion for her adopter. But her person moved into an apartment and he could not take her with him. She was an excellent companion and it broke his heart to give her up. He knows she will make someone else a great companion too.Yes, she is elderly, but she is so sweet too! She deserves to live out her golden years in a comfortable and super loving home.Skyler is a very sweet, gentle, and lovable girl! She is very easy going, likes to lay around and have her belly rubbed, and would be the perfect new addition to brighten up your life! She seems to smile all the time, and is a big ol' lovable galoot! She weighs about 60 pounds. She is good with people, but because she is very strong, and though she is a senior now, a home without young kids would be best for her. She is good with other dogs overall, but would prefer a home without other dogs or cats, just because she is so strong and loves her people more than anything, and she deserves all the love she can get now as she adjusts to a new home! Skyler is so sweet and easy going and she deserves to continue being loved in her golden years. To meet her is to love her, so please apply!_____The adoption fee includes age-appropriate vaccinations, heartworm test, spay/neuter and microchip! Please click on the link for our:Online Adoption Application: https://paawarren.org/adopt/adoption-application-form/Details and info on Website: https://paawarren.org/

OH. MY. GOODNESS! Have you ever seen anything sooooo PERFECT! Well now you have! Tig is a HUNK. A hunk of goodest boyyyy. He LOVES people and has had positive interactions with other dogs (we have not had him around cats yet).  He is new to our organization, but we are loving every minute with him so far!  We would love to set up a meet and greet if you are interested in meeting him. Please fill out an application and someone will be in touch.  We are all looking forward to hearing from you.  We do not have a facility for you to visit.  WE PROCESS APPLICANTS AND SET APPOINTMENTS BASED ON THE ORDER APPLICATIONS ARE RECEIVED , so while you are welcome to email  ccrcdogs@ccrcdogs.com with specific questions, you will want to complete the  ONLINE APPLICATION ASAP ,  which can be found at www.ccrcdogs.com, to secure your position in line for one of our dogs. You can also find  a description of our process on that same page. Puppies will not be available to be seen until their 10 day quarantine has passed. Our adoption fee is $220 for adults, $295 for puppies (under 6 months), and $150 for seniors (8 yrs and up) which covers the cost of the spay/neuter, age appropriate shots and tests, medications to bring the dog to full health, and a free visit with one of our approved vets after adoption. The majority of dogs at CCRC are obtained from animal control centers, so there is often very little known about their history or even current habits. You can always expect to do some training, regardless of whether you adopt a dog or a puppy, including crate training, house training, and basic manners. CCRC provides a variety of materials and resources to assist you with this, as well as telephone support.   December 1, 2023, 9:58 am

Story
Max is an AMAZING dog!!! We rescued him from our local humane society as a pup. He currently belongs to a sweet 11 yr old boy. Due to family circumstances, his owner and "grandma" need to find him a new loving home. He is crate trained and has the zoomies right out of the gate. Once he gets his short-lived zooming out, he just wants to be near someone and to be loved. He loves being in the room with you, but does not need to be pet 24/7. He LOVES to play outside. He is able to sit, laydown, stay come on command. He does like to play catch me if you can sometimes - just for the attention. He does the adorable head tilt with curiosity and has a huge smile when he is happy! His favorite thing to do, besides eating, is hanging with his "boy." His boy and "grandma" are heartbroken and have to find him a new home. Whoever adds Max to their family will be blessed beyond measure.

Story
STAR is a foster-based rescue. All our rescue animals stay in foster homes until adoption. We do not have a central facility. If you want to meet any of our adoptables please submit an application.  Hi! My name is Ivy! I am looking for a forever home of my very own, I heard they are the best! I love everyone I meet and I'm a happy girl! I am very smart and eager to please. My foster mom says I love to sleep in the silliest positions.  She's sweet and funny, knows sit, down, potty trained. She's amazing on a leash, great in vehicles and so lovey!!! She's just an all around wonderful girl!!!   I am selective with my doggy friends - I prefer calm, & respectful dogs and am not tolerant of rude or obnoxious dogs.   I haven't met a cat yet.   I love kids, but I sometimes don't know my size so I would be best with older, dog saavy children. I may look a little bit different because I have a cleft lip, but it's not a cleft palate though, so it doesn't affect me one bit other than making me EXTRA cute! If you are interested in fostering me to help me find my forever home, please reach out because my current mom is experiencing some major health complications and it would greatly help us both. If you foster, all supplies and expenses are covered by the rescue. I am completely up to date on all my vetting, spayed and microchipped. I would come with some food, leash, collar, treat, toys and some other goodies. Thank you! I cant wait to meet you! Love Ivy!   If you are interested in meeting me or learning more about me, please fill out an application or email heather@savingtailsanimalrescue.org All STAR animals come vetted, Up to Date (UTD) on age appropriate shots and testing, spay and neutered (if of age,) and microchipped. AGE DISCLAIMER: Unfortunately, most of the orphaned animals that come into our rescue looking for homes don’t bring birth certificates. Sometimes we know our pets’ ages. Sometimes we don’t. So we make our best guess based on the condition of their teeth and the veterinarians best guess.   BREED DISCLAIMER: Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label . Microchips: For the safety of our dogs and peace of mind of our fosters and adopters, STAR microchips all dogs prior to adoption with Petlink Microchips. Please understand that all dogs MUST still wear a collar with ID tags (which include your current information) AT ALL TIMES. Please remember, our foster dogs are extremely important to us-- we will always take any of our dogs back, if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog. Never surrender him/her to a shelter! Make sure you let us know you saw Rio on Adopt-a-pet. Let us take you to Rio! This boy is full of the happiest butt wiggles, very smart, and an all star snuggler. He is a big fan of stuffed animals and could play fetch with you until bedtime! Rio has been doing great meeting and playing with dog friends, he does well with his size or larger. He loves the dog park, a place to romp and run. Special requirements for our boy; older children 12+, no small dogs, and no cats. Rio has been attending training where he is excelling, his adopter has the option to continue this training.
