Story
Meet Rosie! Aka Rosie May… Rosie is an American bull dog mixed with husky that is almost 4 (birthday in April). She is a sweetheart who loves everyone and does great with kids of all ages (currently with a 7 month old and 2 year old). She wants lots of attention so I would say it would be good for older kids. Lived with chickens and a barn cat and did great. Rosie loves playing frisbee, cuddles, and being outside. Rosie needs a home where she can get a lot of attention such as someone who works from home. She gets crated when left alone as she has chewed things before but she would do well left out if given proper attention. Rosie is a spirited dog who loves to march to the beat of her own drum.

Meet Candy! FOSTER UPDATES BELOW! This 43-pound bubbly bulldog mix is estimated to be under two years old and has the absolute cutest pout in town! Not only does Candy have the sweetest face, she has the most delightful personality to go along with her charming looks. Tolerant and curious, Candy is very food-motivated and is eager to please. She knows how to sit and takes her treats well. If you have the treats, she has the time! Candy is almost fully house-trained and is also crate-trained. This cutie patootie enjoys all sorts of toys, especially plushies! She is good on leash and rides well in the car. She is ready to join you on all of your adventures. She also has good recall and comes when called. Candy seems to enjoy the company of her fellow kennel mates and has also had experience with cats prior to her coming to GLDR. If you have a laid back fur baby looking for a pal, come check out Candy! As she is still a young lady, she will benefit continued training, daily exercise and a yard to enjoy. She deserves a family that will treat her like the princess she is! At the end of the day, Candy loves to cuddle on your lap to enjoy some relaxation. She sleeps quietly through the night and has the most adorable snore ever! Based on our evaluation, we feel Candy would do best in an active home with adults or families with kids ages eight and up. She may have the capacity to live in a home with other animals and we are happy to do a meet and greet with your family fur baby. If you think Candy is the sweetness you've been missing in your life, head to greatlakesdogrescue.com and submit your application for our darling girl!

Story
Introducing Tyson, the brave and friendly American Bully who's curious about the world and ready for his second chance! This playful boy found himself lost and in a bit of a pickle, but thanks to the wonderful people at PAR, he's been given a new leash on life and is now looking for his forever home. We are still getting to know this handsome low rider as he seems to have some confidence issues we are working on! Tyson may be a bit unsure around new people at first, but once he warms up, he's a total sweetheart and an absolute goofball! He takes pride in keeping his space clean and enjoys the simple pleasures in life, like playing with his squeaky toys and going for leisurely walks. Tyson is a protective soul and would make a wonderful companion for a family with older teenage children, provided they can give him the time and patience he needs to feel comfortable. Tyson is still working on his social skills with other dogs, so introductions will need to be slow and careful as it appears he has not been socialized properly. He's hoping to find an experienced adopter who understands his unique needs and can help him continue to grow into the amazing companion we know he can be. NO cats please! If you're the patient and the understanding type, Tyson could be the perfect addition to your family! He's eager to find his people and show them just how loving and loyal he can be. Could you be the one to unlock Tyson's full potential? Tyson is believed to be an American Bully, 57 lbs., 2-3 years old, neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm negative, and on monthly prevention. Tyson is also being offered free training with our certified professional dog trainer. If you would like to meet Tyson, please fill out our adoption application for preapproval and we will be happy to set up a meet and greet at your convenience! Thank you to a generous supporter for sponsoring Tyson's adoption fee! https://www.parpets.org/adoption-application.html

Hi! I’m Tawny! I’m a sweetheart with a heart as big as my smile and an endless love for toys. My favorite thing in the world? Chewing on squeaky toys until I get that squeaker out—oh, it’s the best game ever! I’m also a total fetch fanatic. Toss me a ball or toy, and I’ll race after it with all the enthusiasm in the world, then trot back proudly, ready for round two (or ten!).I’ve been on my own little fitness journey too—working off some extra pounds with walks, playtime, and plenty of zoomies. I’m playful, affectionate, and always up for brightening your day with kisses, tail wags, and toy-time antics. If you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving companion who will keep you laughing, cheering, and tossing toys, I’m your girl.Let’s meet—I’ll bring the love and the squeakers, you bring the snacks.Love,TawnyPersonality: Affectionate, Athletic, Brave, Curious, Dignified, Friendly, Funny, Gentle, Playful, SmartHouse-trained: YesGood with: kids, dogs, catsAPPLY TO MEET ME TODAY: https://rb.gy/wyue3iTawny~born~7/1/20_____Standard and Special Breed adoption fees includes age-appropriate vaccinations, heartworm test, spay/neuter and microchip! Please click on the link for more information:Online Adoption Application: paawarren.org/adopt/adoption-application-formWebsite for details, info: paawarren.org***PAAW’s Avocato Catfé is now open in Farmington Hills!
