Hello everyone!! I’m Drago! And I can’t wait to meet you! Just look at my face! I’m an adorable and sweet boy who will bring oddles and oddles of love and life to your family! I’m a mastiff/bulldog mix who was born around 8/14/21.I weigh about 80 pounds and have a heart full of love… and playfulness!! I’m now current on all my vaccines, but because my previous owners didn’t properly care for me I tested lightly for heartworms. But that’s ok… I’m. being treated for them on slow kill method by The Artemis Project, AND they will continue to provide and fund the medications for the duration of my treatment even after I am adopted… and I’m SO ready for a wonderful life and just waiting to go home with YOU and meet my new family. I have a calm personality and an easygoing nature. I'm a solid boy with a gentle way about me. I enjoys being close to my people, I walk nicely on leash, and I settle comfortably in a crate. I'm not high-energy or demanding — I'm totally content to just relax, keep you company, and be a steady, loyal presence in the home. I'm good with female dogs (we're not sure about male dogs or cats) and I'm crate trained too! I'm simply looking for a home where I can feel safe, appreciated and truly part of the family. Can you please set up a meet and greet with me? I can meet you, you can meet me, and we can start of what will be a long and wonderful relationship! Currently this sweet baby is with our rescue, The Artemis Project, in Arkansas. We DO, however, transport monthly to the metro Detroit area of MI. Because animal overpopulation is severe in our region, and stray and unwanted dogs have very little chance of finding a home here. Hello, My name is Ari I'm a super sweet male American Bulldog mix who was born around 01/21/19. I have the cutest brown freckles on his ears and a heart as big as his smile. I was found in a horrible and filthy situation, abandoned and left to fend for myself until The Artemis Project took me in and committed to help me find my forever home. I’m now being fed properly and have a warm place to sleep and a foster family to help me until my forever family comes to pick me up. I'm a 55-pound bundle of sunshine is eager to please and a quick learner—proving you can teach an old dog new tricks! I am dog-friendly with non-dominate dogs, but I would also be perfectly happy soaking up all the love as the only pup in the home. I adore humans of all sizes and am a total sweetheart. Plus, I'm a clean boy who never has accidents in his kennel! I'm neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and preventatives, and currently undergoing slow-kill heartworm treatment, which Artemis will continue to monitor and provide. Meet Bruce!! Bruce is anxiously waiting for life with his forever family! He is the sweetest American bulldog mix you’ll ever meet! He has an estimated birthdate of 11/08/23 and weighs in currently at 60 pounds. But this guy is pretty underweight so he won’t stay at that weight long. Bruce’s story is that of true heartbreak. He had been abandoned, left roaming both sides of Hwy 71 alone for way too long. He obviously wants very good at scrounging up enough food to sustain him. He also was found with puncture wounds, scratches, and cuts covering front half of his body. But his spirit has not been broken. He is a very loving boy who is good with other dogs both on and off leash. Bruce is undergoing treatment to help him battle his wounds and he has been brought current on his vaccinations. But he has tested positive for heartworms so he is also being treated for those on the slow kill method. The Artemis Project is covering this treatment and will continue to provide and fund the medications until he is clear of heartworms, even if he is adopted before that ,so please, don’t let that negatively impact your decision to give this wonderful and deserving guy a home of his own. No dog should suffer this way, especially one with such a gentle spirit. Please, step up and be his lifeline. We’re convinced you will fall in love when you meet him – he just needs someone to give him a chance. Give Bruce a chance to win your heart and become your best friend forever! Freya's energy is nicely balanced; she gets excited easily for fun adventures but will instantly chill out and lay down when you are ready to relax. In the home, Freya has excellent manners. She is fully potty-trained, completely non-destructive, and crate-trained. While she may show a bit of initial anxiety when first crated, she quickly settles and handles being left alone well. Grooming her is an absolute breeze, as she easily allows baths, nail trims, and teeth brushing right at home.
