He weighs about 70 lbs. He is approximately 3 years old, and though he is loved by his family, he is looking for a new home with a fenced in yard & active playmate. He lives with another dog that he loves, 2 cats that he tolerates well, and 4 children that he is very good with. He is reactive to dogs on leash, but with patience & a proper introduction, he does very well. He is a big snuggle bug with his current owner. He rarely barks and greets all visitors and people outside beautifully. He knows some commands and takes treats very nicely. We feel he would benefit from off leash exercise. Buddah/Butters is a sweet lover boy! Could you give this handsome hunk the life he deserves? He is fixed, microchipped and he is up to date on vaccines. Buddha tested negative for heartworm. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Marshmallow is a very sweet boy who is looking for a new home. Marshmallow is with our rescue partner in North Carolina. We do offer a foster-to-adopt trial for approved adopters. Marshmallow was brought to the shelter by animal control when his owner moved away and left him behind. He is the sweetest boy! He walks very nicely on the leash and loves attention. He likes toys too. Marshmallow has done well meeting several other dogs (see videos). He tested well with cats too. Marshmallow is fixed, up to date on vaccines. He has tested positive for heartworm. We need a foster to save his life! Treatment for heartworm includes 30 days of oral antibiotics and 2 visits to our vet in Barnegat, NJ followed by 30 days of restricted activity. If we are able to save him, his adoption fee will be $300. Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
