Meet Lovebug, a stunning 3-year-old American Bulldog mix whose name perfectly reflects her sweet and affectionate nature. Rescued from a local New Jersey shelter, Lovebug is a joyful soul who adores everyone she meets. She has a zest for life that’s as big as her heart, and her playful energy is bound to bring a smile to your face. Lovebug is good on leash and enjoys quiet, short walks where she can take in her surroundings at a gentle pace. She would absolutely love a fenced yard where she can romp and play to her heart’s content. She takes treats gently, is eager to please, and thrives on human connection. A home with older kids is preferred due to her playful nature and her tendency to think she’s a lap dog! Lovebug does have a medical condition that requires special care. Despite two surgeries to address her challenges, she sometimes struggles with breathing and regurgitation when she gets overexcited. She’s currently on a low level of medication that helps keep her calm, and this works successfully about 90% of the time. Because of this, she needs a peaceful home with minimal commotion to help her stay relaxed and comfortable. She would do best as the only pet in the household, where she can soak up all the love and attention. Meatball is a compact, muscular American Bully with a calm demeanor and a strong preference for human companionship. He is an affectionate, people-oriented dog who forms close bonds and enjoys being near his person throughout the day. Meatball is steady and relaxed in public environments. He is non-reactive to dogs, wildlife, and everyday distractions during walks and prefers to remain close to his handler. He enjoys accompanying his foster caregiver to work and is well-received by everyone he meets. Meatball has low to moderate exercise needs. He prefers very short, slow walks and is content with one brief walk in the morning and one in the evening. He enjoys spending time outdoors in pleasant weather and engages in light play, including fetch. Meatball is housebroken and does best in a predictable, calm environment. During severe weather (high winds, thunder, or lightning), he may become anxious and occasionally have accidents. He does not enjoy extended periods of isolation and prefers a home where someone is present most of the day. While crate-tolerant for short periods, he is most comfortable outside of a crate. He sleeps in the bedroom with his people, uses his own bed, and enjoys resting on furniture with his family. He navigates stairs well despite his short stature. Meatball is highly food motivated and requires structured feeding practices. He should be fed separately and have treats or bones provided in a secure area. He may live with another dog with appropriate management, though he may be best suited as an only dog due to his strong attachment to his person and occasional jealous tendencies. Cat compatibility is unknown; limited observation suggests low reactivity. Meatball would do best in a home with older children or no children. He is physically strong and may be unintentionally rough despite having no ill intent. Meatball is seeking a stable, adult-oriented home that values companionship over high activity. He would thrive with adopters who enjoy a relaxed lifestyle, can provide consistent structure around feeding, and are looking for a devoted, loyal companion.

💗💗💗MEET PEACH💗💗💗 Ohhhh my GOODNESS. Can someone please tell me why this sweet sweet girl has not been adopted yet? She is so loving and loyal to her foster. She was so scared when we rescued her by having to trap her with some delicious Popeye’s chicken that she wouldn’t even come out of the trap once we got her home. Now after a few months of human love (something she didn’t know existed) , she has busted out of her shell and is ready for her new home and life. We believe her to be an American bulldog. She weighs about 40 pounds. She is spayed, chipped, hw-, and up to date on all her shots. She is great with dogs, cats and people. She would also make the perfect companion to someone wanting one. I adopted Apollo from a friend who could no longer take care of him. At the end of the day he’s just too much dog for me. If I didn’t have 4 others it would be more manageable. But there are already 4 others that I have had adopted most either as puppy’s or within a couple months. Apollo’s was the last to join the pack so he’s the least acclomate. He’s only 2 years old and being the biggest he’s was trying to show dominant over other dogs and upsetting the vibe of the pack. I think k he needs to be in a home where he is the only dog. Or someone who is better suited to care for multiple big dogs. If adopted he has an xl cage. Xl bowls, toys, kongs, muzzle and 2-3 collars leash possibly couple other things I may have for him. Just want him to have a loving home
