Meet Lovebug, a stunning 3-year-old American Bulldog mix whose name perfectly reflects her sweet and affectionate nature. Rescued from a local New Jersey shelter, Lovebug is a joyful soul who adores everyone she meets. She has a zest for life that’s as big as her heart, and her playful energy is bound to bring a smile to your face. Lovebug is good on leash and enjoys quiet, short walks where she can take in her surroundings at a gentle pace. She would absolutely love a fenced yard where she can romp and play to her heart’s content. She takes treats gently, is eager to please, and thrives on human connection. A home with older kids is preferred due to her playful nature and her tendency to think she’s a lap dog! Lovebug does have a medical condition that requires special care. Despite two surgeries to address her challenges, she sometimes struggles with breathing and regurgitation when she gets overexcited. She’s currently on a low level of medication that helps keep her calm, and this works successfully about 90% of the time. Because of this, she needs a peaceful home with minimal commotion to help her stay relaxed and comfortable. She would do best as the only pet in the household, where she can soak up all the love and attention. My name is Shari! I'm the cutest little meatball. I am 40 lbs and around 9 months old. I am not big - seriously! I am dense and compact and as of now, I seem pretty well filled out. I don't think I will get much bigger. I am a bit of a low rider. My foster mom also says she has no idea what I am. When I hear her talk she says I am probably a combo of a number of things including Bulldog, Pug, Heeler, Terrier. I am the funniest dog and I constantly entertain my people and dog friends (even when I am sleeping). I am housebroken and crate-trained. I am not sure I will need the crate for long as I don't get into much that I shouldn't! I am great with dogs and just fine with cats. I have been around kids over 8 and I enjoy them. I love to snuggle. That could be my favorite thing to do! I also entertain myself well and I play with all my toys. I take them all out of the toy basket; I have not mastered putting them back in. I could be an only dog but I could also live with a dog friend or two. I can run and play with the best of them or just lounge with the lazy ones. When a visitor comes into the house, I will let you know! With a treat or two, I am in their lap and looking for love and affection. I am pretty low maintenance and I am a joy to have around. I hop like a bunny when I get playful. All four paws off the ground! My foster family calls me Miss Piggy because... sometimes I get a curly tail and well... I snore! Story

Moe has had a rough start to his life. Animal Control was called to pick him (and his two brothers) up from his previous home when his owners moved and left them behind. The 3 pups were found sitting in a crate in the yard with no food or water. These pups were so friendly and eager to greet the AC officer, they were really just happy to be alive and that someone found them. Even being at the shelter was sadly better than being in a crate on an abandoned property. All three are very friendly pups and love people. They are happy and affectionate little pups. Moe is 3 years old, 46 lbs, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative. Moe its the sweetest, loves cuddles, and playtime, very food motivated, and loves a good nap.
