CHARLESTON IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN. CHARLESTON WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO CT ONCE HE IS ADOPTED!    This hunk is Charleston. He is a four year old Bulldog mix. He is the sweetest fun loving goofball. He is a big boy who loves attention. He wants you to pet him, and he wants to lean into you with his whole body. He does not meet a stranger in a person or dog. He loves playing in the backyard with his toys, and then lounging on the porch sunbathing. He gets excited to go anywhere. He will run to the door and wait for you to let him out- then he jumps right in the car. This adorable boy has the most stunning eyes. We believe Charleston has some hearing loss. He seems to hear some pitches, but either doesn’t hear the others or ignores them. He does good walking on a leash, is kennel trained, and house trained. He loves greatly- he will become your shadow. If he wants your attention he will whine/talk to you to let you know. Charleston is a big boy with still a lot of puppy energy so a home with older children would be best. This guy is amazing, and deserves the perfect forever home! Everest Is spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, treated for all of the intestinal parasites, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Because intestinal parasites are cyclical, your puppy may need additional treatment once you get him/her home. This is common and nothing to be alarmed about. Puppies and dogs need to be treated periodically for parasites throughout their entire lives. The adoption fee is $550 if your adoption is prepaid prior to your pup's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on puppies that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! More and more of our adopters are having fun with DNA tests on their pups. You might ask yourself why our breed guess is varying degrees of difference from the DNA tests. Most of our puppies are rescued from high kill shelters or other abandonment situations and we have no info on parents. When we rescue puppies that have no background info, we make our very best educated guess as to breed mix and age. Our guesstimate comes from years and years and years of animal welfare work and training, but our guesses won't always agree with your vet, your neighbor, your DNA test, etc. The most important thing to know about your puppy's breed mix is that most likely he/she is a Super Lovable Mutt made of many many many different breeds. If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at the Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.   Doja is such a pretty little girl with an adorable face. She is 3.5 years old and 57 pds. Doja is up to date on all vaccinations, spayed, hw negative and current on all preventatives.  She is sweet and lovable and is one of the easier dogs that I have at my house.  She is crate trained and goes right into her crate.  I think she views her crate as her safe place.  She loves people and likes to be hugged and lay on the couch.  In my house,  she now has a routine and she gets out to run and play and be loved.  She will need someone willing to give her a little time to settle in and trust.  This will come quickly as dogs know when they safe, sound and loved.   Doja craves attention and will give love back to you in spades!  I believe that her perfect home would be a quiet place with someone that could spend a lot of time with her.  She loves to run in the yard.  Is not too interested in toys but does love her nyla bones.  She does ok with other dogs but I believe her perfect home would be one where she could get all of the attention.  She’d be fine with teenage children.  She is affectionate and loving.  She is a quiet little girl.  Doja just needs a chance.   Ask for her videos.December 2, 2023, 9:37 am

68 pounds 4-5 years old He loves people and my grandkids love him.  He is a big strong boy but is a pussy cat.  Tidus and our dog,  Andie were out in the yard and he really doesn’t pay much attention to other dogs.  Sniffs but then goes his own way.  He walks pretty well on a leash.  when he gets excited (when it is time to eat or treat time – he doesn’t always pay attention to where he is stepping and will definitely step on your feet – ).  We are trying to make him sit when he gets excited but this will take more work.  He will definitely let you know when he has to go out, when it is feeding time and when he thinks it is time for a treat.  Has a big bark so needs a home and a big yard. He is the boy that does not like to ride in the car.  Big Dog Experience helps with a dog like Titus.  He does know sit, comes when you call him and is a big lush but Tidus does not know his strength.  Would not hurt anyone intentionally so no small children please.December 2, 2023, 9:37 am

Ask for his Video! He's an awesome doggie according to his trainer!  Butters is a Neutered male Mixed breed terrier mix Brown and White approx 63lb HW Negative in 8/22   He loves his people. He is silly and sweet and playful. He plays well with dogs.   His favorite things are any kind of human attention and the pool. He loves the pool so much we bought him his very own so he doesn't have to share!   We had a trainer evaluate butters temperament and he couldn't believe how good he was  .He knows sit and down, and even went into a down position for the trainer he had just met (this is a very submissive and vulnerable thing for a dog to do). He says he's a great dog and anyone who has any experience at all with dogs would do fine with him.  He loves people and kids and looking for someone who wants a great companion.   He pulls on a leash if he sees something wants, so he needs someone strong and willing to help him with his leash skills. Has not done well with cats in the past. we have determined he has a prey drive, so he cannot be off leash for hiking or outdoor without an enclosed area.  He needs someone who will protect him which is what a great dog owner does anyway.  Ask for his adorable videos.  He's grreat with kids and all people.  Very playful with  medium-sized dogs.December 2, 2023, 9:37 am

Trixie is a  sweetheart who is a refugee from a High Kill Shelter.  She is now fostering with children, dogs, cats and chickens. Speak to Foster Mommy.   She is a Sausage Pig Dog! She is 34 pounds and 2-3 years old.  She is very smart, curious energetic and Goofy.  Great with dogs.  Strong for such a little nugget.   She appears to have a new eye injury blind in one eye but that doesn't slow her down. Crate trained and fine-tuning housebreaking. She gets commands and improving on the leash. She is well-behaved in the house and loves her toys.  She can keep herself busy. She can take treats gently then gets over stimulated and needs to calm down.  This is typical behavior for a rescue dog.  She’s an athletic dog so needs an active life.     Ask for her Video.  She looks like an American Bulldog/Frenchie mix.December 2, 2023, 9:37 am
