Story

Shelby was found on 11/30 in my front yard as I returned home from running errands. She took about an hour to trust us and get her into shelter (our garage). She was immediately so grateful, giving us lots of kisses and hugs. As of 12/6, my husband and I started fostering her. She’ll need someone who has had dogs before and hopefully a dog only household. I am exposing her to cats but it’s all from a distance and supervised. She is crate trained and housebroken. From a medical perspective she is healthy. Snap 4DX - HW, Lyme, Anaplas, Erlich testing came back all negative so no Lyme or signs of a tick borne disease. Waiting on her fecal sample results. She has her rabies shot, and working through the rest of the vaccinations, 2 weeks apart to avoid reactions. I am working on finding a place to get her spay. She is learning all of her basic commands. She knows sit, down, and working on stay, wait, and place. She enjoys going on walks/hikes. Loves meeting new people. Very trainable!

The adoption fee is $450 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are adopted at an event, or foster home. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
