Meet Bojangles! This loving bully mix is just five months old and already the happy go lucky kind of dog that people dream of having. While adventuring and floating on the river are his favorite activities so far, this fella is also down for playing with other dogs. Despite his adventurous nature, Bojangles will also settle well in a crate and is totally up for snuggling with his person. A year later, Tom and his siblings were placed on the euthanasia list, but they were rescued by Adogs just in time. 3⃣ Basic Information * With People: Still feels a bit shy with human touch, but approaches with curiosity to sniff. Runs away if you try to touch him. Even though he runs away, is gentle without any signs of aggression when approached by strangers. Comes closer to familiar people with treats. Can be touched and leashed when he is cornered. * With Dogs: Gets along well and plays only with familiar dogs. Is a bit wary of new dogs and does not mingle with them. * With Cats: Did not react to cats nicely. He barks if he seems them outside the fence. May chase or threaten them, so careful attention is needed. * Separation Anxiety: Not confirmed as he currently resides with other dogs at our center. * Potty Training: Only does outdoor pottying at our center. * Hygiene: Takes a bath nicely and accepts brushing well. * Walks: Has been trained at a dog training school, so he is a well-behaved walker! May be startled by sudden noise during walks, so care should be taken. Pulls a little on the leash and he’s undergoing training for this. * Car Sickness: Doesn't get car sick. * Biting: Has not bitten. * Barking: He may bark when meeting strangers. * Likest: Loves treats and food. * Dislikes: May feel uncomfortable with too much touch or attention. If I didnt suffer from allergies Id keep him but its taking a toll on my well being. Tank is home trained and is not a picky eater although I feed him ground turkey with veggies. Would like an owner who has a yard or who would be able to walk often even though he is home trained and can use pads. He will be very shy until he feels comfortable and safe with new owner. Also I believe a bigger home with yard would be helpful with his skin allergies

Hi there! I’m Willa! I’m looking for a home of my own in time for the holidays! I’m a sweet and playful 3-4-year-old boxer mix, weighing in at a lovable 60 pounds. I’m super, super friendly, and I love playing with other dogs, but would probably do best in a home as the only pup. I was patiently waiting at a shelter in Tennessee, but it’s gotten crowded because of all the dogs displaced by Hurricane Helene. I came in a stray, and nobody has come for me, so now I'm thrilled that I was lucky enough to come to NJ and find you! I am currently living with a foster family with older kids and I love them, but its not a forever kind of thing and I'm still on the hunt for my fur-ever. I'm looking for a very patient and low energy quiet home, as I can sometime get anxious (especially when being outside with new and loud noises - I'm still learning the ropes!) I'd also thrive in a home with a yard to run free in but prefer to hang inside mostly. I recently learned how fun toys and balls can be. And then there's the nightly couch cuddle I can't resist. I do great in the crate when my family is not home and at night. I also know some basic manners like sit, paw and leave it.
