While adventuring and floating on the river are his favorite activities so far, this fella is also down for playing with other dogs. Despite his adventurous nature, Bojangles will also settle well in a crate and is totally up for snuggling with his person. A year later, Tom and his siblings were placed on the euthanasia list, but they were rescued by Adogs just in time. 3⃣ Basic Information * With People: Still feels a bit shy with human touch, but approaches with curiosity to sniff. Runs away if you try to touch him. Is gentle without any signs of aggression when approached by strangers. Comes closer to familiar people with treats. Can be touched and leashed when he is cornered. * With Dogs: Gets along well and plays only with familiar dogs. Is a bit wary of new dogs, barking at them, and does not mingle with them. * With Cats: Does not react to cats nicely. Barks if he sees them outside the fence. May chase or threaten them, so careful attention is needed. * Separation Anxiety: Not confirmed as he currently resides with other dogs at our center. * Potty Training: Only does outdoor pottying at our center. * Hygiene: Takes a bath nicely and accepts brushing well. * Walks: Has been trained at a dog training school, so he is generally a well-behaved walker! May be startled by sudden noise during walks, so care should be taken. Pulls a little on the leash and he’s undergoing training for this. * Car Sickness: Doesn't get car sick. * Biting: Has not bitten. * Barking: May bark when strangers visit. * Likes: Loves treats and food. You can get closer to him through treats. * Dislikes: May feel uncomfortable with too much touch or attention. Please take your time to approach him slowly. * Personality: Tom is very shy. Although he’s curious about people, he’s not used to them and retreats if you approach him. You should wait for him to approach you first!

I can’t believe im here posting this , but i do believe this is the best decision for my dog. He is a very sweet dog . I’ve never had a better dog then him. He gets along with everyone and even other animals. He was originally raised in a house full of dogs,cats, and even birds. I joined the navy and left him with a family member i thought would take good care of him but they are apparently to busy also. He is now overweight. He still has the spark in him but his weight keeps him from fully engaging in most activities. Im looking for someone that is active and patient and is willing to to nurse him back to himself. I use to always take him on small hikes in woods and walked him everyday. He gets tired very fast now and usually just sleeps a lot. He will still play with toys and still enjoys walks . Please i am only looking for people that actually care about dogs health. If you have a super busy schedule, this i not the dog for you . Serious people only please.
