Story
Meet Lucy — 79 pounds of pure sparkle and sass. 💅💎 This 7-year-old Bully mix didn’t just arrive from the shelter — she made an entrance in her hot pink, rhinestone-studded collar like the diva she was born to be. Think “Real Housewives,” but with more slobber and better cuddles. Her foster shared that although Lucy is big, she is not a big presence in the house. She is clean, housebroken, crate trained, non-destructive. Not high energy. And she completely ignores the cats!! If you’re looking for a dog with star power, a heart of gold, and a flair for the fabulous — Lucy’s your girl. ✨ Questions About this Animal? Story
Tank is a young American Bulldog mix who was recently rescued from euthanasia at a shelter, and he’s ready to start his happily-ever-after. Despite his name, this sweet boy is really just a big lap dog who hasn’t quite mastered the concept of personal space—he loves to be close to his people. Tank is generally a laid-back companion, but don’t be fooled—he’s got a playful side that pops out when the mood strikes. He is well-behaved, and happiest when he’s following his humans from room to room. He loves people in general, but seems especially drawn to men. He’s also done well so far meeting dogs. He's had mixed experiences with cats, but we think he would be OK with a slow introduction. He is a great fit for many kinds of families. If you’re looking for a loyal shadow, a snuggle buddy, and a gentle soul all in one, Tank is your guy! Adoption fee: $525, includes all shots, sterilized, heartworm negative, dewormed, flea preventative, microchip   If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have. Story
Meet Maxwell, a charming in need of rescue. His journey with us began when he was surrendered by his previous owner, through no fault of his own. Maxwell boasts a delightful history of coexisting harmoniously with both children and dogs of all sizes. However, we recommend a child-free environment due to his tendency to be a tad jumpy and nervous, especially when encountering new people. Maxwell's previous family described him as a big, goofy, and immensely playful companion. Additionally, he has proven himself to be well-trained in both housebreaking and crate use. He's capable of peacefully free-roaming when left alone, with no adverse incidents. Despite his endearing qualities, Maxwell is currently experiencing a degree of unease in the shelter environment, away from the only family he's ever known. New faces and the presence of other dogs passing by his kennel have understandably heightened his anxiety. Our dedicated behavior team has devised a plan to place him in a quieter section of the shelter, although it is apparent that the current setting is less than ideal for this sensitive fellow. During his stay with us, Maxwell has gradually opened up, revealing the same lovable, goofy personality that endeared him to his previous owners. Yet, he remains cautious when meeting new people. In our care, he has engaged in playgroups and demonstrated positive interactions with other dogs, though he tends to prefer calmer canine companions, as those with high energy levels can sometimes overwhelm him. This endearing pup is longing for a safe and loving environment where he can thrive. __________________________________________________   If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have. Story
Butler is a big sweet goofy boy who loves to play on his back with toys and who thinks he can be a lap dog. He loves cuddles in the morning time when he sleeps in. He doesn’t go anywhere without handfuls of compliments about how handsome and well behaved he is while out on the town. He is eager to learn and please. When home alone he lays on the floor or his bed & does not get up on furniture. Opening up the door to his happy wiggle butt will always make you smile but be warned he is a shoe thief & will pick up your shoe while he wiggles into you.   He has not shown any signs of anxiety destruction or destruction. Also is house trained & has had zero accidents in the house. Nor has he showed any signs of food aggression. He walks well on leash. When we have had the time to be off leash in fenced in area he has the fastest zoomies & loves to roll around in the grass and soak up the sun on his back. He has good potential recall. Bulter really is such a sweet boy who loves to be around his human & is happy to take naps in the sun.   Adoption fee: $525, includes all shots, sterilized, heartworm negative, dewormed, flea preventative, microchip   If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have. Meet Bojangles! This loving bully mix is just five months old and already the happy go lucky kind of dog that people dream of having. While adventuring and floating on the river are his favorite activities so far, this fella is also down for playing with other dogs. Despite his adventurous nature, Bojangles will also settle well in a crate and is totally up for snuggling with his person. Story
Introducing Vesta! Vesta is an absolutely stunning 11-month-old Boxer/Terrier mix who turns heads wherever she goes. Her sleek, shiny silver coat looks like it was polished, and her striking amber eyes are truly mesmerizing—full of intelligence, warmth, and curiosity. Beyond her beauty, Vesta has a wonderful personality to match. She’s snuggly, affectionate, and hilariously funny, with a charming habit of “talking” to you to let you know exactly what she wants. She has a good bit of happy, youthful energy and would thrive with an active family—she’d make an excellent companion for hikes, runs, adventures, or playtime, then happily curl up for cuddles afterward. Vesta is friendly and does well with kids and other dogs, but she would do best in a cat-free home as her instincts may lead her to chase. She’s crate trained and doing well with house training, and she’s eager to continue learning with her forever family. If you’re looking for a dog who is equal parts gorgeous, affectionate, playful, and full of personality, Vesta may just be your perfect match

Story
Meet Demi! 🐾🥰 This 3-year-old Boxer mix is as lovable as they come. With her soft eyes, big smile, and constantly wagging tail, she’ll have you wrapped around her paw in no time. Demi is what we like to call “extra huggable” (yes, a little chunky- currently built more like a sausage than a supermodel 😂), but that just means more to cuddle! She’s recently started a new diet, so she’s officially on her “health kick” journey—though if you ask her, she’d still prefer pizza over Pilates. Demi’s personality is just as wonderful as her looks. She’s sweet, silly, and has a way of making everyone laugh. She gets the zoomies like a puppy, does a little dance when she’s happy, and soaks up attention like it’s her job. She’s friendly with kids, cats, and other dogs, making her a perfect fit for just about any family. She’s also the full package when it comes to manners—crate trained, housebroken, spayed, and fully vaccinated. Demi is ready for her forever home, where she can keep working on her “glow-up” while spreading love, joy, and belly laughs every single day RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Story
Meet Emma! She’s a 1 year old boxer mix, and just look at that sweet face! With her sleek black coat, floppy ears, and big soulful brown eyes, she’s the kind of pup that turns heads everywhere she goes. Emma has such a soft, gentle presence, and there’s something about the way she gazes up at you that feels like pure love and devotion. She’s the kind of dog who makes you smile without even trying. Emma is incredibly sweet, gentle, loving, and affectionate. She’s the perfect companion for little adventurers or anyone looking for a fun hiking buddy. She’s very social and does wonderfully with kids and other dogs, and she would thrive in a home with another canine friend to play and snuggle with. A feline-free home would be best for her, as her instincts may lead her to chase cats. She is crate trained, doing fantastic with house training, and eager to please her people. Emma is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and ready to bring so much love and joy into her forever family’s life. Whoever welcomes her home will truly be lucky to have her!
