Think “Real Housewives,” but with more slobber and better cuddles. Her foster shared that although Lucy is big, she is not a big presence in the house. She is clean, housebroken, crate trained, non-destructive. Not high energy. And she completely ignores the cats!! Tank is a young American Bulldog mix who was recently rescued from euthanasia at a shelter, and he’s ready to start his happily-ever-after. Despite his name, this sweet boy is really just a big lap dog who hasn’t quite mastered the concept of personal space—he loves to be close to his people. Tank is generally a laid-back companion, but don’t be fooled—he’s got a playful side that pops out when the mood strikes. He is well-behaved, and happiest when he’s following his humans from room to room. He loves people in general, but seems especially drawn to men. He’s also done well so far meeting dogs. He's had mixed experiences with cats, but we think he would be OK with a slow introduction. He is a great fit for many kinds of families. Story
Meet Maxwell, a charming in need of rescue. His journey with us began when he was surrendered by his previous owner, through no fault of his own. Maxwell boasts a delightful history of coexisting harmoniously with both children and dogs of all sizes. However, we recommend a child-free environment due to his tendency to be a tad jumpy and nervous, especially when encountering new people. Maxwell's previous family described him as a big, goofy, and immensely playful companion. Additionally, he has proven himself to be well-trained in both housebreaking and crate use. He's capable of peacefully free-roaming when left alone, with no adverse incidents. Despite his endearing qualities, Maxwell is currently experiencing a degree of unease in the shelter environment, away from the only family he's ever known. New faces and the presence of other dogs passing by his kennel have understandably heightened his anxiety. Our dedicated behavior team has devised a plan to place him in a quieter section of the shelter, although it is apparent that the current setting is less than ideal for this sensitive fellow. During his stay with us, Maxwell has gradually opened up, revealing the same lovable, goofy personality that endeared him to his previous owners. Yet, he remains cautious when meeting new people. In our care, he has engaged in playgroups and demonstrated positive interactions with other dogs, though he tends to prefer calmer canine companions, as those with high energy levels can sometimes overwhelm him. This endearing pup is longing for a safe and loving environment where he can thrive. __________________________________________________   If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have. Butler is a big sweet goofy boy who loves to play on his back with toys and who thinks he can be a lap dog. He loves cuddles in the morning time when he sleeps in. He doesn’t go anywhere without handfuls of compliments about how handsome and well behaved he is while out on the town. He is eager to learn and please. When home alone he lays on the floor or his bed & does not get up on furniture. Opening up the door to his happy wiggle butt will always make you smile but be warned he is a shoe thief & will pick up your shoe while he wiggles into you.   He has not shown any signs of anxiety destruction or destruction. Also is house trained & has had zero accidents in the house. Nor has he showed any signs of food aggression. He walks well on leash. When we have had the time to be off leash in fenced in area he has the fastest zoomies & loves to roll around in the grass and soak up the sun on his back. He has good potential recall. Hello Violet was born 9/8/2025 she has 8 other siblings she was mated from my older dog. She’s my grandbaby. She love to snack and play around she loves to cuddle/ she was rehomed and the owner noticed she was deaf he couldn’t keep her or train her properly. So he dropped her so we can pet set and just never picked her up and doesn’t pick up my calls. I unfortunately. Can’t keep her due to space and I have 4 other dogs. My man goal is to rehome to a loving family or someone who can give her that one on a one :/
