Story
This is Darby, She is as much a part of our family as our children. We found her after she had been hit by a car. Her pelvis was broken, she was emaciated, and she had just had puppies. We looked for days for them and never found them. She is the most loving, calm, wonderful soul. She is almost a truly perfect dog. I am forced to rehome her because she is extreemly protective of us and went into our neighbors yard and bit thier 7 year old lab. They have involved the police and we are being forced to either euthanize her or find her a new home. I cant even explain how painful this is, she is bonded to me like a child as I spent a lot of time with her durring her healing. We are guessing she is about 3 to 5 years old. She has escape artist tendencies so a solid fence is a must. She also has had sever trauma on a leash at some point as she is petrified them along with car rides. She prefers women, but has never shown aggression with a man either. There's so much more but I'm out of words

ADOPTION FEE WAIVED!! Nayla was found in the woods behind Brown's Creek and brought to Guntersville Animal Hospital & Surgery Center on 23 Jan. Nayla is about 45 pounds of pure fun and love. Nayla is a happy hearted girl who loves to be silly and playful but not in an obnoxious manner. Nayla is submissive with a sweet demeanor. Look at that CUTE half tail! Which, by the way, breaks the sound barrier! Nayla is a people dog. While she hasn’t met a stranger and loves all human companionship, she would not be well suited for animal companions. Please call 256-582-3184 for more info or go meet Nayla at Guntersville Animal Hospital at 1609 Henry St, Guntersville. Adoption fee is WAIVED, which includes her spay and basic vetting.

Bubba is young guy looking for an easy going long term relationship. He has a very bubbly personality and is game for just about anything, hiking, road trip, hanging out with the boys, snuggles, you name it. He gets along well with the other shelter dogs, both girls and boys. He seems to have some skin lesions that need to be treated, but his coat will come back beautiful in no time. If you are interested in adopting Bubba, stop by Guntersville Animal Hospital & Surgery Center at 1609 Henry St, Guntersville AL, or call them at 256-582-3184. He is already neutered and his adoption fee will cover the rest of the vetting.

Story
Hello everyone. My name is Jaxon. My birthday is on January 7th. I was rescued as a stray by Animal Control and brought to Second Chance Shelter in Boaz Alabama on January 7, 2021. I have been at the shelter since I was a year old . I want to be the King of the house so I need to be the only dog. I love people and giving them all kinds of lovings. If you are looking for a dog to give unconditional love and attention, I'm the furbaby for you. I know how to sit, on occasion, and I can wait pretty patiently for my food. My friends here at the shelter love to visit me and I trade kisses for treats. I think I am pretty good at giving kisses.
