Story
This is Red! He was taken in from an elderly person in Irondale who was unable to care for him. He's about 1 year old and just over 50lbs. No food aggression, GREAT with other dogs, super playful and loves cuddles and hikes. His shots are up to date, he's been fixed, and has been treated for fleas/ticks. Red comes with a harness, leash, and toys. He knows sit really well and we're working on other commands. He is also crate trained and can stay in a crate for up to 6-8hrs (though we try to keep crate hours to 6 max).

Story
About 2.5 weeks ago, I brought a beautiful brown pitbull mix into my home. Prior to this, I'd been feeding her along with my neighbor across the street at my house. I didn't realize she had an actual home. I bought her 2 dog houses, one is on my property hoping that I could provide her shelter. I would come over to her house every day and feed her. (I don't live at this house). Her mom (81 w/ cancer) said that she no longer wanted her. I took her into my home with my 5 other dogs. Her name is Brownie. Prior to coming into my home, she'd never had a bath, never been rubbed and never actually been inside a residence. Now, she let's my rub and kiss her. But, she's still timid to allowing you to just reach out and pet her when standing. I'm unable to keep her because, she is somewhat aggressive with my 2 small dogs. My husband has turned his back on her. However, I know she is sweet and misunderstood. I need to either surrender her to a rescue so that she can find a loving

Story
We acquired Bama from the Shelby Humane Society a year and 1/2 ago. She is a five-year-old blue nose pitbull. She had puppies before we obtained her, but has now been fixed. She needs a home where she is the only dog and is not around Children. She is good around adults. She is shy, Cuddly, and very smart. She is potty, trained, and knows basic commands. Overall, she is a great dog but she cannot be trusted around children or other pets. She is up-to-date on all of her shots. We recently found out that we are having a baby girl so we sadly are looking to rehome her because she is not great around children. She loved sun baking and catching bumblebees. She walks great on a leash and occasionally has the zoomies around the house. Her favorite snack is cheese!

Story
Meet Gladys, a petite bundle of sweetness packed with an extra dose of charm! All this precious lady desires is a cozy home where she can bask in the love she deserves. Gladys favorite thing in the whole world is riding in the car…she can’t get enough!! She’s made for road trips! Gladys is an adorable little jumping bean who loves having fun! Officially deemed Queen of Cuddles. Excellent in her crate, house trained, and a big fan of a doggie door. While Gladys enjoys gentle playtime with calm pooches, her foster believes she's destined to be your one true love. Hurt by dogs in the past have her a bit wary as rough play can sometimes be misinterpreted. Bashful at first, but playing hard to get is just temporary. Gladys will have your heart for keeps in no time! Celebrates her birthdate as 9/14/2019, a perfect snuggly 30 lbs., vaccinated, spayed and microchipped. Gladys is ready to bless someone or a family with all that she is!

Est. birthdate is 9/5/2019, 80 lbs. (more to love right?) a no cats kind of guy, crate trained, vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. Adoption fee $300.00. Story
AMOS is looking for a forever home down south🖤 Amos needs a dog-savvy and patient family. He is learning to trust all over again! We aren’t sure about his history, but he is learning that the rest of his life will be full of love and comfort. Amos is an approximately 2-3 year old boxer/lab mix that is about 65 lbs. He is incredibly sweet and loves being loved on, and doesn’t have an aggressive bone in his body. His trust is getting better with his foster family, but still is uncomfortable around strangers. We know with the lots of love and affection, he will trust his forever family fully! 🏡 Amos came to his foster family badly injured and still has big scars. We believe that he was tethered by a back leg and burned. He has regrown the hair in his back but not his hip and back leg but it just shows his resilience through what he’s experienced. He has the best underbite, too! 🐶 Amos is great with other dogs and cats. He would be great with kids as long as the family understands it will take a while for him to adjust. His foster mom says he is very clumsy though, so may accidentally step on a young kid. 😅 He loves to play with other dogs and gets confidence from them so another young playful dog is a must. He also loves to play with people & soft plush toys 🧸 He does surprisingly well in the car and loves walks even though they scare him a little bit but he’s gaining confidence daily! He is very smart and has good manners, and is Crate trained and potty trained. If you are patient and looking for a best friend for life, please apply for Amos!
