I’m a happy girl with lots of energy to share. Since I’m still a puppy, I’ll need someone who’s confident and consistent with training, because I get distracted easily and still jump up when I’m excited. An active home would be my dream come true! I love playing and running around the yard with my favorite people. Interactive toys, puzzle games, and enrichment activities will help keep my brain busy, burn off some energy, and prevent destructive behavior. If you’re looking for a fun pup who’s ready to grow with you and take on everything life throws our way, I think we might be a perfect match! The highlights…-Very energetic-Family friendly -Dog selective-Parvo survivorKey points to know…-Big Energy & Growing Brain: At 10 months old, I’m still very much a puppy. Full of energy, curiosity, and big feelings. Daily exercise and mental enrichment aren’t optional, they are a must.-Training: I’m smart, strong, and easily distracted, so consistent training and clear boundaries are important. Positive reinforcement, structure, and patience will help me learn focus and good manners as I mature.-Boredom = Mischief: When I don’t have enough to do, I may find my own entertainment. Interactive toys, puzzles, enrichment games, and routine will help prevent destructive behaviors and set me up for success.

Story
IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN MEETING MIA, PLEASE FIRST FILL OUT AN ADOPTION APPLICATION: https://pepperspals.org/adoption-application/ Mia is a beautiful, 8-year-old, pure-bred American Pit Bull Terrier who loves to snuggle and be with her people. This super-smart girl is kennel trained, potty trained, and good with small animals – including cats! Mia is good with most dogs (after a slow intro), but large dogs and high-energy dogs will not make great long-term companions. The dog park scene is much too chaotic for Mia, and she much prefers quietly lounging in her own private backyard. Yard time is a must for this sunbathing queen! At the end of the day (or whenever you’re away), Mia prefers the peace and comfort of her kennel. The structure of kennel-time helps settle Mia’s mind when she’s alone. Mia thrives in a structured environment where she knows exactly what to expect. We don’t know much about Mia’s past, but it’s clear she was abused and came to us with trust issues. The cool thing about Mia is that she wants to trust and looks to her people for guidance in situations that make her uncomfortable. She is very handler-motivated and excellent at listening to verbal cues. This special girl could use an exceptional dog owner who understands dog communication, is adept at recognizing their body language, and is comfortable advocating for her personal space. Please first fill out an adoption application if you’re interested in setting up an appointment to meet Mia: https://pepperspals.org/adoption-application/ **$100 Adoption fee includes: vaccinations, dewormed, spay, and microchipped.

Story
Shiloh was originally found as a stray and taken in by a kind family.  Ultimately, she found her way into rescue.  Shiloh is an agile dog that loves to play ball and will always play with her doggy friends.  As her name suggests, she is shy when she meets new people, but with patience and positive reinforcement, she will become a happy family member.  Due to her energy level, she would do best in an active, but calm home, and with older children.  Shiloh is good with other dogs, but proper introductions and active oversight are necessary.  She is crate and doggy door trained.   Breed:  Pit Bull Size:  Medium Age:  2-3 years old Gender:  Female Activity Level:  Moderately Active   Shiloh is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Her adoption fee of $350 helps offset the rescue's medical expenses. If you live in the Phoenix metro area and think she could be the right fit for you, please complete an adoption application*:   https://www.helpadogsmile.org/adoption-application/  *Please note that the application is not a commitment to adopt–it is a tool used to help determine if a dog and applicant would make a good match. Applications are forwarded to the foster family for review and follow-up. April 18, 2026, 8:05 pm

Story
Hope has a fun, quirky personality. She loves water and gets so excited jumping up to catch raindrops during Phoenix storms. She's affectionate, cuddly, and thrives on human attention. Hope is fully housetrained and has never had an accident in the house. She is up to date on all vaccinations and is in good health.Unfortunately, Hope is dog-reactive due to a traumatic incident when she was about a year old: she was attacked by two dogs she lived with, requiring surgery and stitches in her neck area (which she is fully recovered from). As a result, I would not feel comfortable placing her in a home with other dogs. She does best as an only dog in a calm, loving environment with someone who understands her history. She knows sit, down, stay, off, and heel. She will want to climb on your lap or lay her head on your chest. She has a big, goofy smile, and shows it often when she is happy. Hope loves going for car rides and taking walks.
