Story
Shadow is a wonderful Velcro girl who has the worst FOMO and forgets to chew in her excitement to eat. She's had her one and only litter of babies at only 1 year old. She's now a big, happy, puppy! Completely housebroke, wonderful on leash, she does need a slow introduction to new people, whether your kid's friends, your family or a biweekly cleaner. She's very scared of new people but once she decides you're hers, she will stick to you like glue. She's great with other dogs, cats, and with older, gentle and responsible kids who allow her to come to them. She will glom onto them as well!! Younger children would be way too scary for her. If you have a heart for a surprisingly trusting furry friend who had a rough start and needs lots of socialization training and love, you won't go wrong with this sweet girl. per her foster family..... If our dog was amenable, we would keep her...she's that awesome! She will be your best gal for her whole life.

Story
Meet Madame Amy of Fairweather and Sir Chopper of PawsworthThis royal duo took shelter in our care after their castle came under siege by the dreaded Knights of Catshire. Madame Amy and Sir Chopper are a bonded pair in need of a new castle in which they can reign supreme. Madame Amy is a dignified lady who prefers to be served hypoallergenic treats on a chaise longue while Sir Chopper prefers to be galavanting through the royal forest. Madame Amy only likes to venture out when the weather is appropriate to do so. This is the extent to which they like to be separate. The royal pair spend most of their time together lounging, snuggling, and grooming one another. When forced to be separate, you will hear the power of their wrath through thunderous barking (and sad whines). Madame Amy has very specific diet needs and shall be kept on her hypoallergenic diet for time immemorial. This lady, much to her dismay, needs to be encouraged to roam and play with Sir Chopper in order to shed a few pounds to fit back into her gowns for the royal ball this summer solstice. When she is out roaming the land, you will feel her strength as she can pull very strongly when on leash. Sir Chopper is a young sire ready to roam and play in a new land. He doth desires to play with Madame Amy, and can be loud and rough with playtime, but the Madame and Sir seem to always settle back down together after a few minutes. After appeasing this royal duo with treats, walks, and play time, they will reward you for your services with as many licks as you will accept. Thank you for your interest in adopting! Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption by properly vetting and providing individualized care through our incredible behavior program that consists of socialization and leash training for all animals that enter our adoption program prior to matching them with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives. They are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts once adopted, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! Story
*AVAILABLE FOR LOCAL ADOPTION ONLY* Meet Remy! A face everyone can LOVE! Literally, it is soooo squishy and then that smile. Can you already tell we are a little bit obsessed?! Smart, potty trained, crate trained, dog friendly, INSANELY cuddly and squishy! Remy is truly a special boy!! He shares, he basks, he rolls, he strolls, he sleeps, and he snores lol Every person at the Rescue has loved this boy. He has spent many hours with staff, volunteers, and his former foster mama. He has easily made us fall in love with him. We know you will too after watching his videos and learning more about him! You can see all of this in his adoption movie! https://youtu.be/S9ytDSfe-C4 Watch his gentle play style with his foster brother here: https://youtu.be/YOjcR4K8-M0?si=xVhITLrH7OuDHNiD Watch his gentle demeanor and energy level in a home here: https://youtu.be/bgT33dkmhEg?si=M1N26X7J0feVtRRp Remy is a ladies man but enjoys his male humans too! He just needs slow introductions and time to warm up. He needs time to slowly check them out then he’ll be your BFF and instant playmate. This boy is truly a loyal king. Once he earns your trust he will be your BFF FOREVER! This big hunk of love would do best in a home with no cats. He was a little too interested in the cats at his last foster home and tried to chase them. He was only trying to incite play and looking to have some fun! He has learned to sit and stay! He loves to play fetch and his favorite toy is anything that squeaks. He has learned to potty in the same place in the yard each time at his foster moms house. He is very treat motivated so continued training should be a piece of cake! He’s such a smart boy! He doesn’t jump and has a soft mouth. Saint Remy does great on a leash and would love to accompany his new person/family on walks and hikes. He also rides well in the car. He sits, lays, or watches out the window. At times he gets up and sneaks up for a kiss. He would love a fenced in yard where he can roam and fetch a ball! Even if it’s just him tossing the ball to himself! We believe Remy would do well in a home with another dog that matches his energy but he can certainly be the center of attention and the only dog. He has lived with large males both playful and more calm. He loves to romp around and share his toys. He has always been the submissive one of the bunch. He isn’t a vocal boy so living in a condo/townhome environment would be fine as long as he receives plenty of toys and gets that much needed time to bask in the sun and daily walks (more like strolls).
