Macy is our sweet mum who arrived and delivered 10 babies a week later! She was on the euthanization list at the shelter we pulled her from! Macy is very sweet and loves her people. Adoption fee is 375 which includes her vaccines are current, spayed, microchiped and dewormed!

We cannot believe that we have not received a single application for Smokey yet!Smokey is a brave 3-month-old pitbull puppy who has been through a challenging start in life. He was brought into the care of the BC SPCA due to a condition called puppy strangles, a skin disease where his immune system has been attacking his skin. From the photos, you can see his before and how far he has come! Despite his health challenges, Smokey has shown remarkable resilience and is on medication to help him recover.He is currently in foster where he loves to play with other dogs, play with kids, meet new people and practice his basic training. He knows basic commands like sit, look and lay down. He is crate trained and is in our opinion one of the cutest and most well behaved puppies. He goes into the office everyday with his foster mom and is a perfect work companion.Due to his current immunocompromised state, Smokey requires special care and attention from his future adopter. Smokey would go into a foster to adopt home until he is cleared of his condition. That's right, this will not be a life long condition. Meet Bunny! Okay, her name is really Cayanne, but we call her Bunny because she is super soft like a Bunny! This 18 month old beauty weighs approximately 45 pounds, is kid friendly and dog friendly. We think she is a pittie/husky/hound mix, but we aren’t really sure- so we just call her a Texas special, which is the very best breed! Bunny thinks her humans are the greatest thing in the world. Anytime you walk in the room she greets you like you have been gone for days. She gives big hugs, wiggle butts and races you to the couch so she can give you all the love. She loves to give kisses, licks and gentle nudges to remind you that she is the apple of your eye! Bunny is being fostered with dogs 7-120 pounds and hasn’t met a dog she doesn’t love. She loves to gallop like a horse next to her friends around the yard. She is especially fond of the 7 pound feral yorkie that lives in her foster home and gives her lots of gentle nudges to encourage her to play. She would love to have dog friends in her forever home. Potty trained? YES! Crate trained? YES! She loves to collect all of her babies (stuffed toys) and put them in her “bed”. She lays in her beds and tosses them in the air, rolls on her back, catches them and plays with them. It is pretty stinkin cute!! Adventures?? Walks in the park? Yes please! Bunny is great on the leash. She loves long walks (and can even go on runs), exploring nature and water. She would love to join you on walks around the block or trips to the park. Smart, potty trained, crate trained, dog friendly, INSANELY cuddly and squishy! Remy is truly a special boy with a love for the ladies! He is trying to get to a ladies exclusive Pride event before the month is over! Don’t get me wrong though, Remy is a ladies man but he hasn’t written men off- he enjoys his male humans too! He just needs slow introductions and time to warm up. He needs time to slowly check them out, see what they are about, and then he’ll be your BFF and instant playmate. This boy is truly a loyal king! He is ready for furever and will roll, slip, and slide to get your attention, then hit you with the brown puppy-dog eyes to seal the deal! Sure he snores but its easy to ignore when he has so many other great qualities. Plus, he will always say yes to a coffee date as long as you are buying. His order never changes- one pup cup! Well, if I am honest- he would LOVE a home with cats- they are sooo fun to chase if you ask him. Us, we know that it causes chaos and makes any cat out there upset and we don’t want that for anyone! Remy may only want to play but cats think differently. This boy isn’t only good looks and good taste, he is smart too! He has learned to sit, stay, and his foster mom shared he is house trained! He loves to play fetch and his favorite toy is anything that squeaks.Plus, he is very treat motivated so continued training should be a piece of cake! Looks, manners, teachable… an actual dream man! Saint Remy is also great on leash and rides well in the car so he is ready for walks and hikes anywhere you want to go! Be warned though, he does try to sneak kisses while you drive, he isn’t pushy, just wants you to know he loves you for driving and how much he enjoys spending time with you. He would love a fenced in yard where he can roam and fetch a ball! Even if it’s just him tossing the ball to himself! Which, yes, he does! We believe Remy would do well in a home with another dog that matches his energy and doesn’t mind the classic bully breed approach to play. He is absolutely up for being your one and only though, he has the love and adoration of 5 dogs in him to give and is ready to soak up all the attention and adventures he can to make up for “lost-time.” He has lived with large males both playful and more calm. He loves to romp around and share his toys and has always been the submissive one of the bunch. So much so that he is what we call an Assessment dog. Diamond is so happy for anyone to love on her that she will literally rollover into your lap on the floor or couch to cuddle. If you stop petting her, she will wiggle right under your hand again. Her affection and heart are so endearing. She makes you feel so loved when spending time with her. Diamond is a happy girl, well-trained in a home environment, and does well in public walking through the neighborhood and greeting new people. She is smart, eager to learn new things, and will make a very best friend for someone! While pretty laid back, Diamond does love nature and hiking. The smells, noises, and sights to explore are her favorite! She barely pulls on a leash when in nature because she is in her happy place! She is ready to jump down hills and into the water. Diamond is trained to walk on a gentle leader and does not bark or show any reactivity while on her hike. Diamond the almost 2 year-old, 60-pound sweetie is a best friend, a cuddle buddy, a car rider, a social outing partner, an exercise friend, and much more. We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We provide weekly socialization programs for our dogs through playgroups and group leash training classes available to all dogs in our adoption program, and Doggy Sleepover, Doggy Day Out, and Ambassador programs for our boarding dogs. There is a professional dog trainer on staff to provide support for our fosters and dogs, and an off-site dog trainer for dogs that need more extensive behavior modification. This helps us learn deeply about every dog, prepare them for adoption, and ultimately match them with loving families. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be!
