Story
**This dog is not in the direct care of HTHH - we are assisting his current owner in rehoming him. If you are interested in Roger, please fill out an application at https://www.happytailshappyhomes.org/adoptionform ** 🐾 Meet Roger 🐾 Breed: American Pit Bull Terrier / Boston Terrier mix Age: 5 years, 5 months Weight: ~55 lbs Sex: Male Color: Brown & Black Roger is a sweet, social, and deeply loyal boy who thrives when he feels safe, loved, and part of a calm household. He bonds closely with his people and does best with routine, gentle guidance, and consistency. Once he knows what’s expected of him, he settles beautifully and is an absolute joy to have around. He has excellent manners in the home and is: Fully potty trained Crate trained Respectful of furniture and belongings Calm and well-behaved indoors Roger gets along wonderfully with other dogs and has lived safely with cats and even chickens. He’s social, easygoing, and very passive with more dominant dogs. He is not food aggressive with people or animals and has never shown aggression. He enjoys hikes, dog parks, car rides, and quality time with his people. Affectionate and eager to please, Roger is the kind of dog who just wants to be near you and feel connected. Roger would do best in a home with older children who understand dog boundaries. Very young or grabby toddlers may be overwhelming for him, so a toddler-free home is ideal. Because Roger is sensitive by nature, he can be startled by loud or sudden noises. He is fearful of fireworks, thunderstorms, smoke detectors, and high-pitched beeping sounds. He does well with calming medication during storms and prefers nail sanding over clippers. Roger is a truly special dog—gentle, loving, and deeply devoted. He’s looking for a stable, peaceful home where he can feel secure and continue being the wonderful companion he is. 💛

Story
🧚 Tink — Sweet Kisses with a Dash of Spice Tink may share a name with a famous tiny fairy, but this girl brings a little extra spark to the role. She’s affectionate, snuggly, and happy to shower her humans with sweet puppy kisses — but she’s also bold enough to go explore the world and see what trouble she can (innocently) find. She’s curious, spirited, and always ready to check out new sights, sounds, and adventures. Tink keeps life fun and interesting while still being deeply loving and people-focused. Like her Fairy Court siblings, Tink is: • Eating moistened kibble and drinking water well • Socialized with adults, children, large dogs, small dogs, and cats • Growing up in a busy, love-filled environment Tink would be perfect for someone who wants a loving companion with personality, curiosity, and just enough sass to keep them smiling every day.

Story
🌺 Poppy — Tiny Spice with a Loyal Little Heart Poppy is one of the smaller puppies of the Fairy Court, and she hasn’t let that slow her down for a second. She moves through life with confidence, determination, and just the right balance of spicy and sweet. She loves to play, explore, and then crash hard into nap mode like any good growing puppy. Poppy is often found hanging out with one of her bigger brothers, proving that size means absolutely nothing when it comes to personality. She’s resilient, affectionate, and full of life — the kind of puppy who quietly wins hearts before you even realize it. Like her Fairy Court siblings, Poppy is: • Eating moistened kibble and drinking water well • Socialized with adults, children, large dogs, small dogs, and cats • Growing up in a busy, love-filled environment Poppy would be wonderful for someone who loves a smaller-but-mighty personality, playful spirit, and a puppy who bonds closely with her people.

Story
🌙 Moondrop — Sprite of Mischief & Magic Moondrop is a stunning sprite who lives for a little chaos, a lot of fun, and being right in the middle of the action. If there is mischief or shenanigans happening, chances are Moondrop either started it… or fully supports it. She is bold, adventurous, and usually fearless (with just enough “most of the time” to keep things interesting). Moondrop is expressive and not shy about letting you know what she thinks — or when she believes it’s time for attention. Underneath the spunk and spirited energy is a puppy who truly loves her humans. She’s happy to cuddle, soak up affection, and be your tiny shadow when the day winds down. Like her Fairy Court siblings, Moondrop is: • Eating moistened kibble and drinking water well • Socialized with adults, children, large dogs, small dogs, and cats • Growing up in a busy, love-filled environment Moondrop would be perfect for someone who loves personality, playfulness, and a puppy who will keep life interesting while still being deeply bonded to her people.

Story
✨ Pixie — Tiny Conqueror with a Heart Full of Love Pixie is an adventurous little soul who approaches the world like it’s hers to explore — and honestly, she’s not wrong. She’s confident, curious, and not afraid to stand her ground… even when it comes to telling mama “no thanks.” She takes life (and even her medicine) like a champ. Now, when it comes to siblings? All bets are off. Pixie fully believes she may one day run the puppy world — and she’s already practicing leadership skills daily. Don’t let the boldness fool you — Pixie is deeply affectionate and loves her people. She gives enthusiastic kisses (sometimes with a little excitement sting behind them) and thrives on connection and attention. Like her Fairy Court siblings, Pixie is: • Eating moistened kibble and drinking water well • Socialized with adults, children, large dogs, small dogs, and cats • Growing up in a busy, love-filled environment Pixie would be perfect for someone who loves confidence, personality, and a puppy who will keep them laughing while still being incredibly loving and loyal.
