This infectiously happy guy is named Mack! Mack is the life of the party- a friend to all, and a force of positivity and hilarity. He’s a great adventure dog, a snugglebug, kid-friendly, and dog-friendly! We think Mack is a Lab, Pittie mix, just under two years old. He is a rescue, so these are just our best guesses! Mack is great with kids, and kids are great with Mack! Mack has a childlike wonder for the world, and it feels like kids see that in him. He’s best friends with a two year old and a four year old, and watching them interact is truly heartwarming. His foster says that Mack spends a lot of time with their mom who is 67 and he has become her best friend. He is good at "reading the room". When it's time to play, he is all in, but when it's time for her to get her rest, he has no problem joining her on the couch. Mack was born to be a family dog, and he’s so ready to meet his forever family. Mack is a total socialite, he does great with humans in any environment. His foster family regularly takes him out and about, and he does really well in public! He’s easy in the car, great on leash, and friendly with everyone that he meets- a total “go anywhere dog.” Mack is currently fostered in a home with two other dogs, he gets along well with both! Mack’s playstyle is very “life of the party,” so we think he would do best in a home with another rambunctious player, that won’t mind a game of chase, or romping around the yard together. Mack’s energy level generally can be described as medium to high energy, he has an exuberance for life and a natural optimism that will fill even your gloomiest days with laughter and excitement. Mack also enjoys his playtime with us humans, he loves to play with toys, and he’s a great fetch player! With all of that love for life, Mack also has a great ability to learn. He knows a handful of commands already, and he’s very food motivated. He is working with a professional trainer with his foster! He is working on walking off leash with great recall, and he is fantastic at place! He will be an enjoyable and rewarding dog to train further! Mack’s foster family brags that this smart boy is already crate and potty trained, he picked it up quickly. He had great house manners too! Mack is a gentle guy, he doesn’t destroy his toys, so no mess in your home! He loves treats, and adores his Kong. He also loves footballs and soccer balls so some would say he is a sports fans DREAM! Meet Bluebell! 💙 This stunning, green-eyed beauty is a 45-pound young Pitbull mix with a heart as big as her smile. Literally as big as that smile! It is so hard to catch her without a smile! Bluebell is the definition of sweet and spunky — she’s outgoing, affectionate, and ready to soak up all the love and playtime life has to offer. Bluebell is confident, happy meeting new people, and always ready to greet you with a wagging tail. We have met her numerous times at the rescue and each time, she comes in as if she has known us her entire life! Everyone is a friend, and everyone exists to tell her she is the most beautiful girl in the world. (That fawn coat with those green eyes has us all goo goo gah gah) It is a sweet, innocent confidence. Despite the difficulties prior to entering rescue, she still has so much love to give and she doesn’t hesitate for a second to give it. With people OR dogs! Bluebell recently recovered from a leg injury, and now that she’s off bedrest, she’s bursting with joyful energy. You would need to look very closely to notice it! She’s a champion car rider, patiently shares treats and food, eats like a little lady, and is both crate and house trained. Bluebell lives with a large male dog and does fantastic with other pups — she will thrive with a doggy sibling. Miss social butterfly loves companionship! When she came for playgroup, she was with a playful energetic female, a very stoic handsome male (he likes to think he is the playgroup police lol) and a calmer female. What we were impressed with the most about her, is how she was able to adapt her play style to each individual dog's personality! A home with a yard would be ideal to give her space to run and play. One note — no cats for this girl. She thinks they are fun to chase! When it comes to kids, she’s currently living with a one-year-old infant and they spend their days together. Bluebell always loves to give her kisses, play bows, but also is respectful and gives the baby boundaries. When she met our teammate's one year old son, she was the same way! She has the routine at her foster home down. Her foster mom says she loves chew toys and Kong's filled with peanut butter. They go on daily walks with the baby on the stroller and the two dogs on leash. Those are her favorite! She has even come across new dogs on walks and done great meeting them!! Bluebell is confident, happy meeting new people, and always ready to greet you with a wagging tail. Just like the northern lights, this Aurora is something to see and experience. From her little piggy snorts to the way she tucks her cutie-booty when she is playing, this girl is just as colorful in spirit. She is gentle, easy-going, and feels like familiar company from the start. It’s no wonder she is a people person, she makes everyone she meets feel loved and they radiate it back to her. See some of her cuteness in action in her Get-to-Know Aurora video- https://youtu.be/23c8-c_ljJ0 Aurora is what we call an itty-bitty-pittie, she is a petite little thing so as much as she loves to snuggle on the couch, she doesn’t take up much space at all. When she curls up for a nap she doesn’t even take up a whole couch cushion. Thanks to her size, quiet nature, and leash skills, she is a perfect candidate for apartment or condo company. On leash she walks at an easy pace and can pass other dogs with ease and confidence. Her approach to other dogs on leash is comfortable, happy to greet if invited but understanding that not every dog is an invitation to stop and say hello. As we get to know a dog we introduce them to a variety of dogs to get a feel for their play style and see who they gravitate to. Aurora is always a wonderful addition to play groups, she has great dog-manners, knowing when she is invited to play and when to take breaks to let others play. It is sweet to see her quiet confidence as she enjoys a walk about in the yard while a whole crew of dogs play around her. Her approach is similar with people, she is great at engaging and checking in, always ready to snuggle or to offer some love, but she otherwise is content napping nearby. We estimate she is about 2 years old, always an estimate with a rescue, but her personality is one of a dog whose puppy days are a distant memory. Quiet, confident, loving and easy-going, that is Aurora. An ideal home is hard to describe because she will fit in such a variety of homes and families. If you are looking to add a dog to your family and have kids, she is a yes. When introduced to a bouncy 3 year old, his dinosaurs and a “treat party” she showed us that noise is not going to bother her and she had a gentle mouth when taking treats from his hands. No kids? Thats just fine too, you will be more than enough to make her feel loved. If you have another dog she will make great company, she is very mindful of space when playing with a friend inside, no bull in the china shop moves with her. Even a cat is a-ok with her! When she met our house-cat she was polite, curious but kept a respectful distance. She would absolutely want to meet the cat but with guidance and clear boundaries we anticipate she could live peacefully with a feline-friend. Meet Annie Sue from the Muppet litter! She is currently 7 weeks old, and we think she may be a Pit Bull / Lab mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! Meet Baby Gray! He is currently 5 weeks old, and we think he may be a Pit Bull / Lab Retriever mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place. Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $1000.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW or the NE at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations.
