Meet Ariel – Looking for Her Part of Your World! ✨🧜‍♀️ "I wanna be where the people are…" and luckily for Ariel, she already is! Ariel is a 6-month-old Pitbull mix who currently weighs 39 lbs and is expected to grow into a medium-large sized girl. She may still have some growing to do, but she's already showing us what a wonderful young dog she is. Ariel is obsessed with cuddling. If there's a human nearby, she wants to be right beside them — preferably pressed against them, in their lap or curled up next to them for a nap. She's affectionate, sweet and happiest when she's included in whatever her people are doing. She's also impressively well behaved for a young dog. Ariel sleeps peacefully through the night in her kennel and settles well during the day too. And potty training? She has that completely figured out. She has never had an accident in the house, ever. When she needs to go out, she lets her foster family know with a little whine or by giving the door a "knock." Ariel is curious about the world and enjoys exploring, but she's not one to go charging off on her own. She likes keeping her people and foster brothers within sight and takes her cues from those around her. She gets along wonderfully with her foster brothers and does a great job listening to their cues and respecting their boundaries. The resident cat, meanwhile, doesn't seem particularly interesting to Ariel. She's perfectly happy to let the cat carry on with its own story. Ariel does have a playful side, of course. She enjoys her toys, sunny spots and the occasional zoomie session, but she's equally happy to settle down afterward and get back to her favourite activity: cuddling with her people. Ariel is sweet, affectionate, smart and wonderfully easy to live with. She may still have some growing to do, but she's already showing the maturity and manners of a much older dog — with all the fun and silliness of a young one. She's ready to find her people and finally have her very own part of the world.

Meet Lennon — or as her foster family calls her, Little Miss Potato! This sweet 2-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier x Boxer mix is 46.5 lbs of calm, cuddly, easygoing goodness. Lennon is a true Velcro girl who wants to be wherever her people are. She absolutely loves affection and will happily curl up in your lap for pets — and yes, she even purrs when she's really enjoying herself! She's also an adorable little snorer when she sleeps. She has a wonderfully moderate energy level. Lennon is happy to go for a long walk, chase a ball or frisbee, lounge in the yard and soak up some sunshine, but she's equally content to relax beside you. She's also incredibly chill out in the world and has done great visiting breweries, shopping and hanging out in busy, high-traffic areas. Lennon has been wonderful with the children she's met, including toddlers, and does well with other dogs. She would benefit from continued socialization with larger, high-energy puppies who can be a little much for her. She hasn't been tested with cats. She's doing excellent with her house training and has taken to walking on a harness beautifully. Lennon is comfortable in her kennel and settles in without a fuss. Lennon is a gentle, affectionate girl who seems to have one simple goal in life: be near her people, get some love, and find a sunny spot to lounge in. ❤️ If you're looking for a sweet companion with a calm energy and a whole lot of love to give, Lennon might just be your girl.

Meet Roo! 🐾 Also known as KangaROO, Roo Bear, Rhubarb, and occasionally Ru Paul, because apparently one name just isn't enough for this much personality. 🤣🤭 Roo, a 1.5-year-old, 33 lb mini Pitbull mix whose story may have started with a missing front leg, but that's certainly not where it ends. ❤️ The reasons behind Roo's amputation are unknown, but one thing is very clear: her spirit was never lost. This girl has adapted to life on three legs beautifully and is absolutely thriving. She's wiggly, goofy, affectionate, and convinced that there is no such thing as too much love. Roo is a total people-lover and adores humans of all sizes. Her favourite place is wherever her people are, preferably curled up beside you on the couch, soaking up attention and handing out kisses. She loves to nuzzle right in for affection and has the funniest habit of smooshing her face against her crate while she sleeps, making the most ridiculous little expressions. 😂 She's also a smart cookie! Roo already knows skills like "leave it" and loves enrichment puzzles and toys. Roo is an energetic girl who loves to have fun, and being a tripod doesn't stop her from keeping up! Her exercise just needs to be balanced with plenty of rest and low-impact enrichment to keep her comfortable. She loves puzzles, enrichment toys, tennis balls, and anything she can sink her teeth into. 🎾 Her ideal day is a mix of play, fun, cuddles, and plenty of couch time with her people. Roo is great with other dogs when given a proper introduction, a gal who would love having a canine friend. She is also wonderful with children. Cats, unfortunately, are not her thing, and we don't think a home with small animals would be the best fit for her either. She's almost perfect with her house training, walks beautifully on leash, and settles nicely in her crate at night or when she can see her people. She'd much rather be lounging on the couch while you're out, though, because obviously, she has excellent taste. 😉 Roo may look a little different, but she doesn't let that slow her down. She doesn't need someone to feel sorry for her. She needs someone who sees the silly, loving, resilient girl underneath it all and gives her the forever home she's been waiting for. A little misfit, with a whole lot of personality. ♥️

Thankfully, those days are behind him, and now he's ready to find the loving forever home he deserves.Bo loves being around his people and prefers companionship over spending time alone. He's house-trained, knows how to sit, and enjoys earning tasty treats, making him a great candidate for learning new skills and commands. While he can have a stubborn streak from time to time, he's also a charming goof who will happily put on the brakes during a walk if it means he can soak up some extra belly rubs and attention.This active young dog enjoys outdoor adventures and would make an excellent companion for hiking trails, lake days, and road trip adventures with his favorite humans.Bo is currently working on becoming more comfortable with his crate, and his future family should be prepared to continue his gradual, positive crate-training journey. He can also be wary of veterinary visits and may benefit from continued confidence-building, positive reinforcement, and a Fear Free approach to veterinary care to help him feel more comfortable.While in our care, Bo has shown that he can calmly observe larger dogs from a distance. He showed a little bit of play with the other dog, but respected the dogs space. With a proper introduction, we thing Bo could do well with other dogs. Bo is a loving, loyal companion who is looking for a family that will appreciate his sweet nature, support him through his continued training, and include him in all of life's adventures.
