Koda is a 4year old PitLab mix, we got him as a puppy from an acquaintance who needed to home him at the time. He’s a smart, sweet boy who listens to basic commands (sit, paw, wait, lay). He’s lived in a household with other dogs his whole life however he’s recently shown signs of aggression. He needs a home without other animals and an experienced pet parent who can help train him to be kinder to other animals. We’re looking for a loving and patient household that has the experience to work with him. On walks he pays no mind to other people but becomes reactive towards other animals. We love him very much and believe he is worth the effort however we aren’t able to meet his needs.

Story
At the time of this message he is not even a year old yet, so lots of time to learn and train him. He is a great dog. I do not know how to describe the love I have for him; he brings so much joy with his puppy energy. Unfortunately, I started working a lot more and my free-time has only shortened, and he is one who needs a devoted family. He has became an escape artist, and I simply have been having a difficult time keeping up with his energy-level. He is fearful of people and curious around dogs. However, he is the type where you need to build his trust and be a constant figure in his life (I am unsure how he is with children). He gets along perfectly well and plays with my partners Golden Retriever and small dog and with my maltipoo and Rottweiler. The issues lies in the fact we dont have the time to watch him as we are working more and our dogs are already on the older side whereas he has so much energy and is causing a lot of trouble with the neighbors.
