Story
I am rehoming my rescue pitbull terrier mix named Coco. She’s estimated to be 6 years old in May. She is fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, house trained, crate trained, great with new people and puppies. Due to her background she is scared of other dogs and has leash reactivity to other animals on walks. She is a very sweet girl who does extremely well with new people and indoors. Just needs to be walked away from other dogs! She is better off leash with other dogs she has been slowly introduced with. She’s very healthy, knows tricks, a couch potato, not a picky eater, easy to groom, can get along well with small dogs, loves car rides and sunbathing, and loves to show you with love. Unfortunately we are moving overseas and we can’t fly her with us due to her breed. We thought we would be able to take her with us so we don’t have many of her things. She would do well with anyone who can give her belly rubs and have an area for her to sunbathe and nap during the day.

Story
Hello world, I'm Finn! I’m two years old, but as they say, age ain’t nothin’ but a number… and the ladies love me! (Can you blame them?) I love long walks around the neighborhood and peanut butter by candlelight. I’m then happy to cuddle up with you for a relaxing night of movies and cuddles. I’m the perfect balance of outdoor enthusiast and couch potato… but if I’m being honest, I think I prefer my couch potato side. I love splashing in puddles, chasing birds (though I’ve never caught one), and doing zoomies on the regular to keep my model like physique. Gotta stay fit while also living that couch potato life. In my free time I like to gnaw on my chewie’s, eat treats, bird watch and play fetch with my foster mom. Though, fetch to me is more like foster mom throwing something and then I run around until she catches me. I love other dogs and would be happy to play with my friends all day, though I’ve never lived with another dog. If my new home has a doggo brother or sister for me, I’ll need to be reminded to stay calm and work on some manners while I integrate into my new life. I’m fully vetted, neutered, current on all vaccines, microchipped and looking for my perfect forever family. Story
Hi everybody, I’m Dean Keaton! I’m a really happy boy and don’t have a mean bone in my body. Sometimes it takes me a minute to warm up to some men, but I’m working on that. I love playing with my doggy friends (big and little). My favorite move is to throw my butt into them and turn my head so they can’t get me. I’ve seen a few cats and didn’t pay too much attention to them, but I’ve never met one up close. My foster mom says I’m a really special boy with the kindest heart. I know basic obedience and I’m working on impulse control by doing things like sitting in one place for a little while. Training me is pretty easy because I’m very food motivated. I’m an active boy and I’m always looking for things to do. I like hiking and going on pack walks. I’m am also a really strong chewer and really LOVE toys. Stuffy toys are my favorite, but I’m not allowed to play with them for very long and I always have to be supervised when I do because I like to eat them. Speaking of which, I also love to eat fleece blankets, so I have to be watched with those. However, I’m getting better and am starting to love being cozy and wrapped up in them versus eating them. I also love to chew on Benebones and Kongs, when the Kongs are filled with yummy treatos and then stuck in the freezer. Kongs and chewing activities work my brain and make me pretty tired, so I definitely love my naps. My foster moms laugh sometimes because I tend to sleep in the silliest positions, and I also have a cute little snore. I’m looking for an active adopter or family who wants a fun sidekick to go do things with because I love adventures and meeting new people. I would also thrive in a home with another dog. I’m fully vetted, neutered, current on all vaccines, microchipped and looking for my perfect forever family. Story
Hi everyone! I’m Slater, but my OCPBR family calls me Nugget. I was being given away when I was barely two weeks old, and just a wee nugget. (see what I did there?) Lucky for me, OCPBR scooped me up and has shown me how wonderful life can be. I’m now 3 years old and have been the luckiest pup with my foster homes. I have lots of foster siblings in my current home and get to go camping and on adventures often. I’m super energetic (but I also know how to chill) and need someone who’s going to play with me, so a home with a senior dog would not be the best fit for me. I am a silly, fun, young dog, but I do not like being hugged or restrained, so a home with children under the age of 10 isn’t a good fit for me. I do however LOVE to cuddle and I think I’m a lapdog. I really like all dogs, but small dogs are my favorite. I am crate trained and house trained, walk great on a leash, know some basic obedience commands and am working on learning more. I do have a unique health issue… my second kidney never grew. So, because of this, I have to eat a special low protein diet and my treats are vegetarian lol. Don’t worry, OCPBR has already paid for all of the tests, so you will just need to feed me appropriate food and treats to ensure I stay healthy. At OCPBR, we do a foster to adopt with all of our special dogs going to their new families. If you have another dog(s), the dog(s) must be completely friendly with puppies, other dogs and people. The foster must be willing and able to participate in our foster care program to include ongoing obedience training and socialization. I’m fully vetted, neutered, current on all vaccines, microchipped and looking for my perfect forever family. Story
Rocky was acquired 8 years ago from a family friend and is currently 9 years old. He is a large dog, but puppy-like, gentle, very lovable and loving who loves human contact. He is a family centered dog who is very good with children and other pets. I'm looking for someone, or a family that can keep Rocky indoors with ample yard room as well. He is trained to commands and is a voracious walker in our neighborhood. Among his favorite treats are baby carrots and large chew bones/toys.

Story
Big baby Bronson...we adore this shy, goofy, sweet boy!! He can be timid at first, but cones around quickly as he loves attention and treats. He is learning some better leash manners, and that people aren’t so scary. Bronson truly believes he is a lap dog, and just wiggles in closer to give love. He would do best with children 16+, as the little ones can be too loud and scary to him.March 4, 2024, 9:03 pm
