Story
We adopted Olive as a puppy two years ago from a local rescue. She is stubborn, loving, funny, and snuggly. When our adult children, their child, and their own 2 dogs were living with us last year, she showed some aggression toward our other dog. We separated the dogs and hired a trainer. My daughter-in-law was pregnant, and the trainer attributed the aggression to the progressing pregnancy. Once our children moved out, we slowly reintroduced our two dogs after having been separated for a couple of months. They then got along great for 8 months! However, due to unknown reasons, she attacked our other dog one morning. She is a great dog who needs to be in a dog-free and child-free home. For now, we are able to keep the two separated, but we are hoping to find someone who is looking for a potty and crate-trained sweetie pie who likes to take walks and sleep the day away.

Story
Hello, I'm Buttercup, a young, sweet, and friendly Labrador Staffy girl. I'm as gentle as a spring breeze and as brave as I could be during my stay at the scary shelter. I'm smart too! I've figured out all the tricks the shelter staff taught me. Playful and energetic, I love a good game of fetch or tug-of-war and happy to meet the other dogs who were in here with me. I was so happy to play with them that I almost wagged my tail off !!! . But I'm not all about fun and games. I'm cuddly and love nothing more than snuggling up after a long day. I'm loyal to a fault and will always be by your side, through thick and thin. I promise to bring joy, laughter, and a whole lot of love to your life. Please rescue me and let's embark on this beautiful journey of life together. I will love you forever and ever. PLEASE EMAIL ALPHADOGPETRESCUE@yahoo.com to request our application to meet and adopt. ADOPTION FEE IS $325

Story
Meet Finn: The Resilient, Goofy, and Loving Boy Looking for His Forever Family Finn’s journey to this point has been one of survival, resilience, and, most of all, a deep desire for love. When he was just a puppy, he was found as a stray, weak from malnourishment and needing immediate care. Sadly, the shelter quickly realized that they couldn't give him the help he needed, and he was placed on the dreaded list. Fortunately, a rescue group stepped in, but Finn’s journey didn’t get any easier. He was shuffled from boarding facility to boarding facility, and when the rescue group shut down, Finn was abandoned along with many other dogs. We may never know the full extent of what Finn experienced in those early years, but one thing is crystal clear: he is a survivor. His past, though filled with hardship and uncertainty, has not broken his spirit. He’s become the dog he was always meant to be—joyful, playful, and endlessly loving. Today, Finn is a goofy, silly, and full-of-life three-year-old who’s finally getting to be the puppy he was always meant to be. He is absolutely amazed by the simple joys of life—like discovering the world outside! He has a boundless energy that will have him sprinting from one end of the yard to the other, leaping, jumping, and frolicking as if every day is his first day to play. Water? Splashing around is his favorite hobby, and if you take him for a walk, he’ll zoom around like he’s just been given a new lease on life. Training has brought out the best in him, and Finn is eager to please. He knows all the basic commands and does them with such enthusiasm that you can’t help but smile. He’s been through a lot, but his love for people is unwavering. Finn has been waiting for a family of his own for so long, and he shows it every time someone comes to visit. He’ll greet you with such excitement, you might get knocked over by his signature body slam! Finn loves to cuddle on the couch, curl up by your side, and soak up all the love he’s been missing. His favorite moments are when someone gently rubs his belly, or when he can just be near the people he’s come to trust. His heart is big, and he has so much love to give. He’s ready to share it with a family who will give him the safety, joy, and forever home he truly deserves. If you’re looking for a dog who will make you laugh, keep you on your toes, and be your loving companion through thick and thin, Finn might be the one for you. He’s not just a survivor—he’s a dog who’s finally ready to live his best life. Would you be the one to show him that love, joy, and stability are here to stay? Finn is waiting to find his place in your heart and home.

Story
***FOSTER OR ADOPTER NEEDED - ALL EXPENSES PAID*** Mia is gentle. Loving. Perfect. She wants nothing more than to curl up beside someone, to rest her head in a lap, to know—just once—that she is safe. That she is home. For four long, soul crushing years, Mia knew nothing but waiting. 1,460 days - nearly half of her life - spent in a shelter or boarding facility. Watching others come and go. Watching life pass her by. Wondering why no one ever chose her. But Mia was born with all the wrong “labels.” She is a black dog. She is a pit bull. She is a senior. And because of that, no one even gives her a chance. She has watched younger dogs come and go, wagging their tails as they trot off to their forever homes. She has seen puppies melt hearts in an instant. She has felt time slip through her paws. But Mia remained. Overlooked. Ignored. Forgotten. Until finally, she got a second chance to feel love. A kind foster took her in and for the first time in years, she had a warm home. A soft bed. Gentle hands that pet her instead of the cold, unfeeling bars of a kennel. She started to believe she was finally safe. But it's temporary. Mia’s foster can only keep her until April. After that, she has nowhere to go. No other fosters have stepped forward. No adopters have come. And if no one does, she will go back boarding. Can you imagine the confusion? The heartbreak? The cries of other dogs, the clanging of gates and the cold floor under her paws again. How do you explain that it's not her fault? That she was good? That she deserved to stay? Mia will be devastated. She won’t understand why the warmth, the safety, the love—everything she dared to believe in—is gone. We are begging. Mia doesn’t ask for much—just love, a quiet place to lay her head, and a person to call her own. She doesn’t deserve to spend her last days wondering why she was never enough. We will cover all expenses—food, medical care, anything. Mia just needs someone to step forward before April comes and she loses everything. Please don't let her go back. Be her hero. Give her a home. Please email us at bravedogrescue@yahoo.com

Story
Meet Buster, a lively and brave young pup with a heart full of joy. His playful antics will have you laughing out loud, while his shy side adds a touch of sweetness that's impossible to resist. He can run and play puppy games and he is equally content to snuggle up for a quiet evening at home or lay on your bed with you and even with kitties. . Despite his young age, Buster has already shown an impressive level of bravery. Sadly he and his sibling were found abandoned in a trash can. Our rescue was called to take them. This brave little soul has a lot of love to give. Buster would make a wonderful addition to any family willing to give him the love, care, and patience he deserves. His eagerness to please and his zest for life make him the perfect companion. Adopt Buster and let his joy light up your life. Adoption fee is discounted to $200 because he has not be neutered yet because he is too young. Adopter will sign a Neuter contract and will fix him when he is older. Email Alphadogpetrescue@yahoo.com to ask for our adoption contract. Buster has all him puppy shots and was wormed and microchipped.
