Story
Bella is the best girl. She also goes by “poopy” it’s a nickname she got as a puppy but you can teach her to listen to “Bella”. She also listens to “Bell.” Shes the most gentle loving girl, absolutely loves to cuddle, she’s definitely a lap dog. I got her about 3 years ago as a puppy. She loves to run, she gets the zoomies. Loves belly rubs. She loves treats - duck jerky is her favorite. Unfortunately she is not fixed. I planned to get her fixed last year but the vet said she needed to lose 6lbs. I’ve been able to get her to lose 3lbs so far. Shes been on a diet and i can share what ive been feeding her. Her most recent vet visit this month (may 2026) the vet said she is clear for spaying. I really want her to be rehomed with my other dog, Meech (brown dog in pics). They love eachother, i don’t want to separate them. Please contact me for more info

Story
It breaks my heart to have to make this post, but I’m looking to rehome my one-year-old female pitbull. We’ve had her since she was a puppy, and unfortunately, over the past year she and my oldest female dog have not been able to get along. I’ve done my best to keep them separated, but with five dogs in the home, it’s become extremely difficult to manage safely. She is truly a sweet girl—great with kids, very loving, and always ready to cuddle. She does have a lot of energy and would do best in a home where she is the only pet and can get the time, attention, and exercise she deserves. She is spayed and up to date on her rabies vaccination. We love her dearly, and this is not a decision we’ve made lightly. I just want to find her a safe, loving home where she can thrive. If you’re interested or have any questions, please message me.

Story
Meech is a sweetheart. He’s a very good boy - the best. I got him about 6 years ago from a friend. He was so happy and loving the very first minute we met. He LOVES to play! Tug of war is his favorite game, and he usually wins - he’s very strong. He needs a selection of toys, durable toys. He loves car rides. He just loves people in general. He makes friends everywhere he goes and everyone he has ever met loves him. He loves to cuddle, lay his head on your chest, sprawl out on your bed, belly rubs, butt scratches. He loves fruits and vegetables - watermelon is his favorite. He is great with anyone, other dogs, cats, kids. There is one thing though - I would really, really prefer he be rehomed WITH my other dog, Bella (the grey dog in the pictures). I think they need to stay together. That’s my goal. They love eachother so much. This decision is extremely hard on me, but I’m not able to give them the life they deserve. They need to play, exercise, a yard. Please reach out for more info

Story
This friend has just arrived because their owner could no longer keep them. While owners can provide some history on their pets, our medical and behavioral teams will still evaluate them. Dogs that have lived in homes previously typically have some training established, but we cannot guarantee that those behaviors will remain consistent in a new home environment. They are pending interactions with other animals at the shelter until they have been cleared by our vet. Our staff will spend some time getting to know them and we will update their bio with more information as we learn. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.
