Story
Coco is a little over a year old. She is full of energy. Loves to run, and play. She needs someone who will keep her exercised and busy. She loves pets and snuggles. She is very playful with cats and small children so an introduction period may be necessary. She is fixed, house broken and crate trained but we have not had any professional training. We can provide vet records. I would request a vet reference for any potential adopters.

Story
Hi my name is Fyv (Five) Im looking for my new Furever home! I'll be 3 years old, May 4. I love to play fetch and with tug ropes, and Butt scratches and belly rubs really make my leg twitch with love, which I'll return with lots of kisses. I like fresh fruit and peanut butter for snacks. Im also quite smart and know a few commands like sit, stay, down, speak, catch and I wait patiently to be told to eat.

Story
Passion is a very playful and loving 9 year old American Pitbull Terrier. She will be 10 on 11/24/2024. I adopted her originally when she was 9 months at the Black Hills Humane Society in Rapid City, SD. She has been with me ever since and moved back home to Delaware with me. She loves car rides, belly rubs and sun bathing. She has been able to maintain her puppy like playfulness and energy. We love her dearly, however we are now a household of 7 and two of us are very allergic. She now spends a lot of time couped up in her room or in the backyard lounging around. I would like for her to go to happy home that can love on her like she is used to and the space to run as much as her heart desires. Her only special need is a routine to maintain her skin allergies. Either natural or medicinal. A little bit of care helps her a lot.

Story
Timber needs a new home. He has always had skin allergies over the years but they have got worse as he gets older. I am unable to afford testing to determine specific allergies and vet costs are also too costly. I have a small child at home with a heart condition and I don't want the excessive dander to interfere with his health. He is due for another surgery soon which is why the need for rehoming is urgent. Very friendly dog. Gets along well with people of all ages from infant to adult. Gets along with cats and most dogs. Is crate trained but very anxious in cage so not currently caged. He is a rescue dog. I've tried to surrender him back to them hut he's been on a waiting list for a long time.

Story
Reese was adopted in 2018. She did not have the best past when I got her. She is such a sweet dog when it comes to humans but recently has been getting more aggressive towards other animals, especially her sister of 6 years. Reese was given her name from my favorite chocolate bar, Reese peanut butter cups. We always tell everyone her name is Reese cups. She also has the nickname Cups. She is the most loyal dog I have ever adopted. Reese loves to cuddle under the covers and give lots of kisses. She loves stuffed animals to death. They are her favorite toy, even though her favorite part of them is ripping out the stuffing. She is very energetic and loves to play tug-of-war. This is a very hard decision for our family to rehome her but it is going to be the best thing for her. We want her to have the love, hugs and kisses 24/7. Right now we are trying to split the time we have between her and her sister. I am not asking a rehoming fee I just want her to go to a good home.

Story
Binx is 4 1/2 yrs old and her birthdate is 10/4/2019. She is house trained and potty trained. She is put in her crate for when we leave the house for more than an hour and for night/sleep. She has been up to date with all of her shots. She currently takes NexGaurd Chewables for flea & tick but has never had a flea issue since we’ve owned her. She does have allergies, so she is on Apoquel (allergy medicine for dogs) once a day or every other day. We use Nonantum Veterinary Clinic, they are awesome. Binx is a great dog overall, has high energy, requires a lot of attention, play time & daily walks (which she does walk great). She has been very well trained by a licensed trainer. However, she requires a home with people that are calm, no kids and no other pets. She does get anxious when owners leave the house without her. We can’t keep her due to having a baby, which unfortunately she has been resentful about and we have another on the way.

Story
ABOUT MOO Moo is a 1 year old pittie mix that was found abandoned on our property. We tried to find her owner, but unfortunately no one came for her. Without any information, we knew exactly what to call her. Named because of her unmistakable spots and snorting noises, Moo is the goofiest girl around! All she needs is an active owner, willing to provide the endless belly-rubs she's been yearning for. Whether she's curled up in her kennel or zooming around our fenced fields, Moo always has her favorite toys right by her side! Her rough and tumble play-style keeps us all entertained. After she lets her energy out, she is quick to flop over at your feet for some love! Moo is very food and toy motivated to learn, making her the perfect student. She already knows basic commands and walks well with a harness. She is eager to please her friends and sure to win over your heart. Will you give this sweet girl a chance? **Moo is seeking a home as your only pet! If you are interested in adopting Moo, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.

Story
ABOUT MOCHA Sweet as chocolate, meet Mocha! She is a 5 year old terrier mix that loves all people. Mocha came to HAP when her owners were no longer able to keep a pet. Although she hasn't been here long, she quickly settled into the shelter and has been quite the volunteer favorite. Whether she's snoozing in her kennel or sunbathing outside, she is one happy girl. Mocha appears house-trained, walks well on a leash, and knows basic commands. She is most known for her wiggly butt, adorable tip-taps, and the biggest smile we've seen! Mocha has been a star in our Doggy Day Out program. Check out what our volunteers have to say about her: "Mocha was so fun today! She is really good on the leash with hardly any pulling. She enjoyed just sniffing around and loved sticking her head out the car window for fresh air. Her tail went crazy when she saw she was getting a much deserved pup cup. My favorite part is if you ask her for a kiss she will gladly take you up on it. She's a perfect passenger princess in the car and I was impressed with how well behaved she is. Only thing that bothered her were passing dogs, which is understandable because today was all about her. She is such a loving and easy going girl. Hope she gets adopted soon" - Samantha "Mocha had the best day today! She had so much energy and loved saying hi to every person she met! We went on a long walk and she met so many friends. After we had a long nap on the couch. Mocha is a bundle of joy and so lovable. She loves to cuddle up and bathe in the sun! Mocha was amazing today and love to see her again." - Juliana **Mocha is seeking a home as your only pet. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please submit an adoption questionnaire!
