Story
Windy was rescued from a high kill shelter where she was to be euthanized due to lack of space. She is sweet and loving and has been going through slow heartworm+ treatment. She needs slow introductions to other dogs. Wanting so much for her own forever home as living in a shelter for over a year isn't any kind of life for this sweetie. Due to the shelter environment it is unknown if she is housetrained or may need some help.

Reilly is a gorgeous soft dog. He reminds me of a bear cub. He was saved from euthanasia due to space over a year ago. He has been living in a shelter like environment and longs for a family to call his own. He loves his people...and his toys! We do recommend slow intro to other dogs and cats.

Story
Bear was my daughter Angela's dog. Angela passed away Jan 7th. Bear was abandoned as a puppy and Angela took her in. Bear has been the only pet in the household her whole life and will need time to adjust to other dogs or cats. Bear has been around Angela's 2 year old grandson since his birth as Angela babysat him often so she should adjust to other children in time. She will need time to adjust to a new environment as she was the only pet in Angela's household. Bear was Angela's emotional support dog all through life and especially during her illness. No one in Angela's family is able to take Bear in. My experience with Bear is she is a very sweet dog. She is healthy and strong for her age.

Story
Meet Jerri! This sweet girl was pulled from the shelter back in March after an urgent plea from one of their amazing volunteers. Jerri had been found as a stray and was not doing well in the shelter environment due to the stress and needed out STAT! She was also suffering from entropion eyes, which is an abnormality of the eyelids in which the eyelid rolls inward. The treatment is surgery and as soon as we could, she had her surgery done on both eyes and she is now fully healed and ready for her forever home! Jerri is approximately two years old and is an American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier mix! She is a strong girl who is absolutely strikingly beautiful. But she's not all looks - she's also the sweetest girl you'll ever meet :) She can be slightly timid at first, but her confidence gets better every day and her favorite thing to do is be with her humans. She absolutely loves people of all ages and is a total Velcro dog! However, she is more selective with her dog friends - got along fantastically with an easy going male, but did not like a more high strung female. No kitties for this big gal. She is one who would thrive in as an only dog so she can just spend time with her people. She enjoys a walk or hanging out in the backyard (including sunning herself), but isn't very high energy. She is also a great car rider and does pretty well on a leash. She has done well with her housetraining and crate training as long as she's kept on a schedule. She is VERY food motivated :) Jerri's adoption fee is $200 and she comes fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed. She is also heartworm negative and has been on monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention. Interested in meeting this special girl?
